Chapter~14 {Playful Teases and Blushing Cheeks}

Shehaaz dials her phone to her chachi infront of Sidharth.

Tring Tring.... Tring Tring..

Chachi picks up the call.

"Chachi mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai.." said Shehnaaz fumbling.

"haa bol " said chachi in a normal tone.

"wo.. wo.. chachi wo office mei ek trip announce huyi hai un jano ke liye jinhone wo pichle hafte ki meeting ke hissa thein. Ussi meeting ke success ke liye ek trip pe leke jaa rahe hain 1 hafte ke liye.. wo wo meko poochna tha ki kya mai bhi jaa sakti hoon chachi?Wo aaj hi decision dena hai isiliye aapko jald baji mei pooch rahi hoon. Pleasee.."said Shehnaazz on the verge of crying.

Sidharth who was trying to say to put her phone in loud speaker through his hand gestures but Shehnaaz was continuously nodding her head in no. So Sidharth just snatched the phone from her and turned on the loudspeaker.

"Ye kya ka..." said Shehnaaz to Sidharth.

To which he signalled her to keep quiet and speak to her chachi.

"Haan haan puttar jaao na . Koi gal nahi. Aaram se trip enjoy kar ke aana tussi .Thik haina . Aur meri chinta mat kar mai yahan dekhlungi aapna.Tu haa karde aabhi ja kar.Chal aabhi rakhti hoon yahan thoda kaam hai mujhe tu jab ghar waapis aayegi tab baat karenge thik hai. Tu chinta mat kar tu haa karde ha puttar."said Chachi in a loving voice which is completely unnatural.

Shehnaaz was completely shocked by her chachi's behavior as she had never thought her chachi would speak to her in this way. She was never this polite to her before, but today she was unusually courteous. Whatever this was about, Shehnaaz thanked her Waheguru that her chachi didn't say anything negative to her today, especially since Sidharth was listening to everything on loudspeaker. The unexpected politeness from her chachi left Shehnaaz both puzzled and relieved, creating a sense of gratitude for the timely restraint in her words.

On the other side, the reason behind her chachi's sudden polite behavior towards Shehnaaz was a result of a threat she had received from Rita Maa earlier. Rita Maa knew something about her chachi that even Shehnaaz was unaware of. Any hint of that truth reaching Shehnaaz could lead to highly negative consequences for her chachi, something she desperately wanted to avoid. Consequently, her chachi maintained a quiet and exceedingly polite demeanor towards Shehnaaz, refraining from hindering her in any way. The fear of Rita Maa's potential actions weighed heavily on her, shaping her interactions and making her tread carefully to protect the undisclosed secret.

Now, Shehnaaz was all happy and cheerful as she had finally obtained permission for the trip. Overflowing with joy, she hugged Sidharth tightly, expressing her excitement. Her happiness was evident as she planted a hard kiss on his cheeks, grateful for the support and the green light for the anticipated journey. The moment was filled with a sense of victory and the promise of a memorable adventure ahead. 

"Thank you Thank you Thank you sooo muchhhhhhhhhhhh Sidharthhhhhhhh "said Shehnaaz exclaiming with joy.

Sidharth took a moment to realize that Shehnaaz had just kissed him on the cheeks. His cheeks turned as red as an apple, but he quickly tried to cover up his embarrassment. Despite the unexpected gesture, he attempted to regain composure and play it cool, though the subtle blush on his face betrayed his initial surprise. The moment added a playful and endearing touch to their interaction, creating a lighthearted atmosphere between them.

Sidharth gave Shehnaaz a warm smile and said, "Mai hoon na meri jaan. Itni si baat pe sad horahi thi tum," giving her a cute hug. His reassuring words and affectionate gesture aimed to comfort Shehnaaz, letting her know that he was there for her even in the smallest matters. The embrace conveyed a sense of understanding and support, reinforcing the bond between them.
