Chapter Ten: Feelings

We finally got to the location that the google map had directed me to. I looked ahead and saw the name of the hall or as it was written in the description, an event center.

My eyes drifted to a now sleeping Sabrina. She looked so peaceful and.... Not even gonna think about it.
Sabrina is just someone i hate. Not naturally but something pushed that button. I guessed i have always had it in me to hate her but that particular thing she did triggered the hate I had in me for her. I mean there's a thin line between love and hate.

I tapped her softly on the knee, waking her up. "Ms Rhodes" I called tapping her knee. She stirred a little, as she started to gain consciousness. Removing her head from the glass as she glanced at me, before fisting her hand and rubbing her eyes with it.

"Adonis?" She called out looking at me as I sent her glares. "Mr Huang" She corrected, mockingly. Biting on my bottom lips, resisting an eye roll.

I held the handle of the car, pushing it open. "Get out of the car, Ms Rhodes. We are here" I said, slamming the door of the car. Fixing my suit as I stared at the building in front of me.

The hall is quite classic, I mean the owner has taste due to the way the outside building is structured. I heard the door close a while ago.

"Mr Huang?" She called my attention. "Shouldn't we go inside of the hall to check?" She asked. I eyed her, contemplating whether to give a reply to her question or not.

I tucked my hand into the pockets of my pants, walking away from her. Preferring not to engage in a conversation with her that would make me flare up. I don't need anything to tarnish my happy mood for today.

That's if I am in tho.

Walking into the lobby with Sabrina trailing behind me. I paused in front of the receptionist, exchanging pleasantries.

"Good afternoon ma'am" I greeted.

"Good afternoon Mr Huang" She greeted.

"We are here to book...."

"The hall right? You're here to book the hall for the new designs FTF are about to launch" She practically squeaked leaving me by surprise.

"I must see that you're really excited" I mused, staring at her.

She nodded continuously with a smug smile on her face. "Yes! I'm so excited."

I asked for the floor of her boss's  office and she gave me.

"Thank you" I tapped the table once, walking towards the elevator with Sabrina behind me. We got into the elevator and waited a while before we got to the floor his office was.

After researching about this event center and seeing reviews about it. I deemed it fit for the launch of the designs. It's near the headquarters of FTF and it's also a convenient spot for everyone who's gonna be attending, it's in the middle of the town. Anyone can get here within ten minutes.

I knocked on the door for the third time, patiently waiting for the door to open up. I stole a glance at Sabrina, whom seem to be lost in thoughts.
She looked bothered.
