Chapter Twenty Four: Jealous
•Sabrina•
"When is she gonna be here?" I asked for the hundredth time from Adonis if I'm not exaggerating. He dropped his phone, glaring at me as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Sabrina, this is the last and I mean very last time I'm answering you" He barked, taking his hand away from his face. "Act all matured and stop throwing a tantrum here! You're a grown woman for fuck's sake" I rolled my eyes at him, sulking into the chair I was sitting on.
"We've been waiting here for the past twenty minutes and she hasn't even arrived. I'm hungry" I murmured, Adonis shot his brow up at me before taking his attention back to his cellphone. I think he didn't hear me then.
I really need to know where the hell this wedding planner is to be very honest. I mean why in the world would you keep a customer waiting for so long. And not just any customer, the fucking ceo... Soon to be ceo of the biggest fashion company in London. She really has some issues.
"Mr Huang?" The feminine called Adonis's name, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Ms Spencer?" Adonis asked politely and she nodded with a very wide grin on her face.
"I'm sorry for been late" She apologized.
"It's nothing" Adonis's replied with a warm smile, stretching forth his hand for a handshake and she shook his hand excitedly.
My eyes scanned her from head to toe, taking in her blonde hair which was made into a french braid, the star-like earrings she wore. To her off shoulder white polka dot sundress, stopping mid thigh and the brown sandals she wore. She really isn't dressed as someone who came for an appointment with a customer.
She dropped her bag on the table, sitting next to Adonis before scooting closer. She didn't even bother to spare a glance at me and I fumed at this. Adonis's eyes travelled to me, taking in my current state as amusement danced in his eyes.
"Meet my fiance Ms Spencer. She's the reason why I called you here" Adonis said, gesturing his hand towards me. She turned her head my way, scanning me from head to toe before wearing one of the most fakest smiles someone could wear.
"Oh.. I didn't see you there" She said, mockingly with a sinister laugh.
"It's okay. Ms Spencer" I bit back as Adonis looked at me in amusement.
"Yeah.. and you're..?" She asked in a bemused manner and I bit my lower lip, resisting the urge to roll my eyes at her or even worse, pounce on her or something.
"I'm Mrs Huang" I said as her eyes widened. I'm also surprised by the name I had already claimed mine when we weren't even fake married.
"I... I thought she was your fiancee?" She asked, now facing Adonis.
Hearing the amount of shock in her voice, my confidence boosted a quadrillion times. "I'm his Fiancee" I placed my hand on the table, flashing her the beautiful ring that sat on my finger. "I'm just keeping what's mine you know. It's eventually gonna be my surname, so why can't I use it now?" I asked, staring at her dead in the eyes. I really know that's a rhetorical question but I've gotta do what I've gotta do.
