"Your seriously going on some sort of date with him?" Mandy says as I was pacing around our room half naked trying to find an outfit to wear.

"Not a date, he just wanted me to meet his kid," I said.
"Then why are you stressing over finding an outfit?" She asked me.
"Because I want to make a good impression," I said.
I was nervous as hell. What if his kid didn't like me? What if he cries when he sees me? Why the fuck am I nervous about meeting a kid?
I finally picked out an outfit which was a Tennessee University hoodie, jeans and some orange crocs. I'm pretty sure Morgan didn't care because we're not going out to eat.
"WOW, I bet you're comfy," Mandy jokes and I frowned at her.
"Don't make me change this outfit," I said.
"At least you don't look bummy. You look cute!"
"Thanks," I said rolling my eyes.
After a couple minutes later, I got a text from Morgan saying he was here.
It was weird because I never even gave him my number. I walked downstairs and there was Morgan in the living room talking to my dad.
"Well finally there she is," Dad says.
Morgan was wearing a long sleeve gray sweatshirt with jeans and had a hat on.
"Hey," Morgan said with a smile.
"Hey, you ready?" I asked.
Morgan nodded and lead me outside where his truck was. He opened the door and I got inside and closed the door. He made his way to the other side and started the engine.
It was an awkward silence between us. Morgan occasionally looked at me.
"So do you get paid to ask those questions to me?" Morgan asked.
I looked at him weirdly.
"Heh sorry," he nervously laughs. "For your job. Do you get paid for it?"
"Hm, I think so," I said.
"I bet you're making some money," he laughed a little.
This shit was not going well. I could tell we were being awkward with each other or it was probably just me.
"So how's your momma?" Morgan asked me switching the subject.
"She's alright I guess," I said. "She's still...crazy a little."
"Aren't all of our mommas crazy?"
"Mines is. She got mad because I live in Tennessee with my dad. She's somewhat a miserable woman."
"Sheesh isn't that harsh?"
"No. My brother thinks the same. That's why all of her kids moved to Tennessee to get away from her."
I had a love hate relationship with my mother. She wasn't really a good person to be honest. She hated when I was near my father and that the rest of my siblings were near him. I was so angry with her when she didn't pay my tuition at Tennessee University and made me apply to UNC Chapel Hill because she wanted me to be closer to her. I hated how she moved me out of my high school, Hopewell High and she randomly enrolled me to AC Reynolds High school in the middle of my sophomore year. I hated how she made us hate my dad all these years because she made it seemed like Dad cheated on her when she really cheated on my dad.
"Well damn," Morgan said. "Ain't that some shit."
"Did you just quote one of your songs?" I asked.
"Yeah, corny right?" He chuckled. "How'd you know it was my song?"
"I know a little somethin'."
"Oh yeah? What song you like?"
"Hmm," I said thinking. "7 Summers. Who's it about?"
"Some girl," Morgan says. "Could've been you."
I frowned when he said that.
"Just kiddin'," Morgan laughs playfully nudging me. "What else do you like by me?"
"Nothing else. Just that song in particular."
Morgan frowned which made me giggle a little.
"Just kiddin'," I said and he rolled his eyes.
We finally arrive at Morgan's house. It was a cabin mansion which was literally in the middle of nowhere. His yard was just big with no trees and I could tell the backyard was just full of woods.
I got out the car and made my way up to the porch and the door opened.
"Morgan!" The lady said with a smile. "Indigo was good today. Of course he wanted his daddy."
I was gonna say who the fuck was this lady? Was this his girlfriend? The lady was holding Indigo and my God that boy had the blondest hair I ever did see. He looked just like Morgan. Like a lot.
"Hey buddy!" Morgan says taking Indigo in his arm. "Say hi to daddy's friend, Alyssa."
Indigo was shy and crammed his face into Morgan's neck. He did a shy wave.
"Well I have to get going," the lady said. "Oh how rude of me. My names Jane, I babysit for Morgan."
She gave a sweet smile and left to her car.
"Well I ordered some take out, it's probably inside,"Morgan says walking inside and I followed behind him.
Morgan's house was fucking huge. The house was a typical cabin you rent out when your in Tennessee but it was much bigger. His living room was blue and it had his records on the walls and some jerseys. His kitchen was a little big with  white and black tiles.
"Your house looks nice," I complimented.
"Thanks, it's a little...messy," he said looking around. "Make yourself at home let me get freshened up right quick. Indigo sit with Alyssa I'll be right back."
