"That bitch KT had you fucked up," Mandy says as we get home. "Who even is that?"
"Morgan's ex and baby momma," I said.
"Baby momma drama? I see you Lyss," she says and tries to high five me.
"No it's not like that," I said and rolled my eyes. "This shit is probably all over the media."
"And you're probably right," Mandy says shoving her phone into my face.
It read: BREAKING NEWS: Morgan Wallen Causes Fight at Zach Bryan's Party. Also New Lover for Wallen?
I saw my picture of me getting out of Morgan's truck and me walking into work. Holy shit I can't believe that happened.
This was bad. Like really bad. I can't believe this shit.
"Looks like you got too much shit on your hands," Mandy says.
"You think?" I muttered under my breath.
My phone was buzzing like crazy. It was Morgan and Zach blowing up my phone.
I didn't even bother to look at the messages because I knew it was gonna be some bullshit.
"Look, Lyss," Mandy says grabbing both of my arms. "This will all blow over I promise."
"Hopefully," I said. "For my sake and Morgan's sake."

The next day at work it was hectic. People were nearly all over the place and buzzing about what happened at Zach Bryan's party last night.
"Details," James says. "I want details."
"Well-"
"A brief summary about what happened," James said. "You two went to the party last night right?"
"Yes," I say nodding my head. "It was a fight between Morgan's ex that got engaged, and his exes fiancé. At Zach Bryan's house."
"That's all I need," James says and walks off.
"Well at least he didn't ask about you and Morgan," Mandy says.
"Oh and quick question," James says turning around. "What about you and Morgan?"
"Nothing we're just friends," I said quickly with a quick smile.
"Ohh, 'friends'," he says air quoting. "Well if you two need anything I'll be in my office."
For the rest of the day, we just wrote articles about what happened last night. I think I probably wrote twenty different articles about the event in different views. We were taking snd writing views from people who witnessed it. A lot of people exaggerated it so much.
"Ha someone said they saw Morgan and KTs fiancé fight," Mandy says.
"Someone said I'm Morgan's lost lover," I said.
"I mean aren't you?"
"Nope. We're just childhood friends who kinda grew up together."
"I mean...you bailed him out, his kid loves you and you even made his baby momma jealous because you bonded with the kid."
"I'm good with kids," I say spinning around in my chair.
"At least you made a good impression in the wrong way," she says winking at me. "Nearly had to rock that bitch baby momma but we're good."
"Don't call her a bitch I don't have beef with her," I said.
I checked my phone and I saw a bunch of people texting me on Instagram.
"Wait let me see," Mandy says snatching my phone. "Holy shit you have like 2,000 followers. And you're getting positive feedback."
"Ha your lying," I said.
And she somewhat was but mostly wasn't.
Some people were saying I was a home wrecker and didn't want me to be with Morgan. Someone said I was pretty and supported me and I looked better with them. Some had mean comments on them.
I just deleted the messages because who has time for that?

After today, me and Mandy decided to go to a quiet bar to have something to eat.
"I heard this place was good," Mandy whispered to me.
We ordered some wings and a burger and chatted about today's work and people.
"Excuse me miss," the waiter says coming up to our table. "But that young gentleman at the bar paid for your meal."
I look over and saw Zach raising his beer towards us. The waiter leaves and Zach walks over, pulls up a chair and sits down at our table.
"Well how yall ladies doin?" He asked us.
"Swell," Mandy says looking him up and down.
"I'm fine," I said folding my arms.
"Look I'm sorry about last night," he apologizes. "And paying for your meal was a sign of my apology because I didn't mean any harm by it. Now will you accept my apology?"
"Yes Zach we accept your apology," I said forgiving him.
For the rest of the evening, me, Mandy and Zach hung out at the bar and just talked.

The next day, James gave me and Mandy the day off since he was going out of town for something. Me and Mandy decided we wanted to go grocery shopping since my dad left for two weeks to go on a business trip.
"Ugh I hate grocery shopping," Mandy says as he rolls the shopping cart around store.
We were trying to look around for something to eat. I mean we did know how to cook but at the same time we didn't know what to cook.
I felt someone tap on my leg, I looked down and saw Indigo.
"Hey Indigo!" I said picking him up and spinning him around.
"Hi!" He says and giggles.
"Where's your daddy?" I asked him.
I saw a familiar blonde haired woman come up.
"Indigo there you are," she says desperately.
I saw it was KT. She looked like she was embarrassed to see me. We both stood silent for a second.
"Um hi," she says.
"Hey," I said.
"Look," she starts saying. "I want to apologize for what happened this past weekend."
"It's ok," I said. "I mean, it just got out of hand."
"So...are we cool?"
"Yes," I said and KT gives me a small hug.
I hugged her back and we both started talking about some stuff until she left.
"Glad she apologized," Mandy says.
"Yeah," I agreed. "It's the level of maturity."
