Later that evening, Diego sat with Viktor and Allison at a booth in the Hotel bar. He watched Y/n teaching Stan how to fight with the pool ques they stole from the upstairs pool tables.

Y/n and Stan giggled as she slowly instructed him with what to do, both slowly moving their ques to lightly smack against each others. After a moment, they sped it up slightly, Y/n beating Stan before reassuring him he'll get better.

Diego fiddled with a cocktail stick as Allison got the waiters attention, wanting another drink "Excuse me."

"I mean, who does that? Who does it?" Diego questioned in a mumble.

Allison turning to him with annoyance all over her as she said "What are you mumbling about?"

"Lila." Diego replied, turning to Allison "Dropping Stan on us after all these years? I mean, that's not right."

Viktor shrugged, looking at Y/n "Y/n seems to be enjoying it."

Diego looked up, seeing Y/n ruffle Stan's head a moment before going back to their practice "Still. . ."

Viktor turned to him with a scoff "Hey, man. If you did the deed, you have no one else but yourself to blame for the consequences."

Diego shook his head "No, that's- that's not the point."

"Oh, what's the point?" Viktor questioned.

"He's cramping my style." Diego told him "I need to be able to react to danger on a moment's notice." He snapped his finger "How am I supposed to do that while I'm playing nurse to a twelve year old?"

Viktor sat up and said "You're his Dad!"

Diego narrowed his eyes "Alleged Dad."

Allison chugged her drink and spoke before standing up "Well, at least you have a kid."

The two watched Allison walk away to the bar, Viktor turned to Diego "What's the problem, anyway? Why are you finding it so hard to believe that you and Y/n have a kid together? I thought that's what you would've wanted."

Diego sighed, looking at Y/n as he said "I. . . I wanted to wait, you know? We've technically only been together for, what? A week, give or take."

Viktor raised a brow "I forgot about that."

"Yeah." Diego nodded "I wanted to spend more time with her before this happened. Take her out on a proper date, maybe even marriage." Viktor looked at Diego "Now it feels like we skipped out on all of the traditional stuff."

Viktor nods "Yeah, that makes sense." Diego huffed, sitting back in his head as his arms folded. Viktor leaned over to him and said "Look, for the time being, be a Dad to Stan. Show her you can be a good Dad. Show her you care enough to just jump into the role of a a father."

Diego looked at Viktor "You know, you sound just like Klaus."

"That has to mean we're right on this, right? And, hey, you can still take her out as much as you want." Viktor smiled "Stan has an amazing Aunt and plenty of Uncles to take care of him whenever."

Diego raised a brow and joked "Like I'd trust any one you to take care of my kid."

Viktor chuckled as they heard Five's voice "Okay, gather round, people."

Y/n frowned and turned, suddenly getting whacked in the thigh by Stanley and his pool que "Ow! Stanley!"

"Sorry. Sorry, sorry!" He dropped the que, backing up as his hands went up.

"Go practice." Y/n instructed him, making him follow and practice.

Five walked up to the bar, spinning around as he searched for one missing member "Where is- Where's every- Where's Luther?"

Y/n walked up and stood next to Allison, leaning on the counter with a shrug "I dunno."

"I haven't seen him." Viktor shakes his head.

"Who knows." Diego replied, coming up behind Y/n as his hands wrapped around her waist, hugging her from behind with his head rested on hers, due to the height difference.

"Okay, you know what, we've got worse things to worry about, right now." Five said, pulling out a scrapbook of some sort.

"Like what?" Allison asked, a moody tone.

"This." Five replied, pointing to the book.

Five flipped through the pages, showing multiple newspaper articles with pictures of woman on them.

This made Viktor frown as he asked "Who are they?"

"These are our mothers." Five replied, still flipping through the pages, showing the woman.

They turned the page to an Amish woman, making Klaus instantly point and say "That one's mine."

After a moment of them all looking at the book, Five said "They're all dead. They all died on the exact same day, October 1st, 1989."

"That's our birthday." Viktor said.

Five raised his brows "Not anymore, it isn't. They all died before we we're born."

"That's dumb." Diego said before cockily saying "If we weren't born, how can we exist?"

"Exactly." Five said.

Viktor frowned "What are you saying?"

Y/n then realised "We created a paradox."

"Correct." Five looked at her before explaining to the others "When we jumped here, we created a time paradox. And not just any paradox. This is the grandfather paradox."

Klaus frowned "What the hell is a grandfather paradox?"
