1 ʏᴇᴀʀ ʟᴀᴛᴇʀ. . .

Diego and Y/n stood across from each other in the large yard of their home, deciding to have their wedding in their back yard.

Klaus, who ended up being the godfather to their baby, stood behind Y/n, tears of happiness flowing down as he held a bouquet of flowers. Lila, the godmother, stood behind Diego, smiling widely as she watched the two speaking their vows.

The Umbrellas all sat on the groom's side while Y/n's Latvian family sat on her side. Allison had a seven year old Claire next to her and Ray on the other side of her, and Viktor had his current girlfriend as a plus one.

After a few months of settling into their new timeline, her mother, Kristīne, found her again after traveling to America to look for her. It turns out, her mother had spent years traveling around the world looking for her after she mysteriously disappeare8d out of no where. So, when Kristīne found her, she and the rest of the family moved to a huge house to where the Academy had moved to.

Y/n's family cried slightly, though they weren't fond of Diego and the Umbrellas. But, they didn't know the full story. Of how they saved the world.

They also hated the name that Diego and Y/n had given their baby girl, not knowing the history of the name.

They also hated the fact that Diego and Y/n had decided on a small, civil wedding rather than a large religious one.

The celebrant stood inbetween the two, bring his speech to a close "Now, before we continue, do either of you have a speech or anything you would like to say?"

Diego nodded "Yeah."

Y/n smiled "Really?"

Diego nods again "Yeah. . ." He let out a breath, trying not to cry of happiness "From the moment I met you, I knew you were the one I wanted to spend my life with. Ever since out first training together. As I look into your eyes, I see my past, present, and future all at once. I promise to cherish and support you, to be there for you when you're sad, and be there for you when you're happy. And, I think our family would agree, that it is about time."

The Umbrellas laughed through their tears of joy, nodding their heads as Klaus cheered "Whoo!"

Y/n's family just looked at them with slightly dirty looks, obviously not happy that they kept Y/n from them for so long.

Diego sniffled and continued "And, I promise you, I will be the best Dad I can to our baby, Gracie-May Hargreeves, and any childrenwe have together in the future."

Gracie-May, Grace for short, squeeled from Luther's arms, making Y/n smile as Diego wrapped up his speech "I am so grateful to have you by my side as my partner, my best friend, and now, my wife. I love you more than words can express."

Y/n sniffled with a small chuckle "I love you, too."

The celebrant turned to Y/n "Y/n?"

Y/n nodded, wiping her face a little while also trying not to smudge her makeup "Diego, we haven't had the best life in the world. You know that. But, having you there with me made it worth it. Every apocalypse, every Commission, every Sparrow couldn't stop me from being with you."

The Umbrellas let out a chuckle, Ben rolling his eyes, as Y/n's family frowned.

"I appreciate everything you've done for me, and I am so ready to make a build a better furture for us, and for our family." Y/n sniffled "I love you more you'll ever understand, and I am honored to call you my husband."

Diego smiled widely, his eyes watering as a small tear fell. Klaus whimpered in happiness, his hand going to his mouth as he cried.

"Diego, do you promise to take care of, and cherish your time with Y/n for as long as you may live?" The celebrant said.

Diego nodded "I do."

Y/n smiled "Y/n, do you promise to take care, and cherish your time eith dieto for as long as you may live?"

Y/n nods "I do."

The celebrant smiled "Well, then, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."

Diego almost instantly pulled Y/n into a long and passionate kiss, holding her waist tightly as her arms go around his neck.

The Umbrellas quickly stand up, clapping their hands together rapidly as they cheered. Apart from Ben, who stood up and clapped his hands, attitude still Luther, who still held baby Grace, cheered as he got Grace to clap her hands slightly, since she was only around 3 months old. Klaus and Lila jumped up and down, cheering loudly.

Y/n's family stand up shortly after the Umbrellas, clapping their hands aswell.

Y/n and Diego pull away, resting their foreheads against each others as Diego held Y/n's cheek "I love you."

Y/n giggled "I love you, too."
