On the 12th hour on the 8th day of August 2024, absolutely nothing out of the ordinary occured. You might say it was just a normal day.

Gracie-May ran around the park, a bubble stick in hand as she blew huge bubbles. Claire sat with the twins on a picnic blanket, making flower crowns with them. The Latvian family all chatted and laughed amongst themselves.

After a moment, the family heard a voice "We are so sorry we're late."

"Mommy!" Gracie-May cheered as she ran up, hearing her mothers voice.

"Hey, sweetie." Y/n smiled widely as she lifted Grace up.

Kristīne came up to the group of siblings and said "Where on earth were you all?"

"We got caught up in coffee." Viktor briefly explained.

"Hmm." Kristīne raised a brow "Come. You are late for the picnic."

Claire jumped up "Mom!"

Allison rushed over "Claire!" Allison pulled her into a long and tight hug "Oh, my God."

Kira looked up and said "Do you want to make flower crowns with us, Auntie Sloane?"

Sloane smiled and joined them as she said "Of course I would!" Luther, who looked slightly shocked, got pulled down by Sloane "Everything okay, sweetie?"

Luther nodded tears filling his eyes "Yeah. Better than okay."

Y/n turned to Ben and Klaus, Grace still in her arms as Grace smiled "Uncle Ben."

Ben rolled his eyes as Grace reached out for him. He sighed and took her from Y/n "Fine."

"Aww!" Klaus pouted, making Ben glare at him.

"Shut up." Ben glared.

Diego came up behind Y/n wrapping his arms around her waist as his head rested on her shoulder. Y/n's hands held Diego's arms as he planted a few kisses on her cheek.

After a moment, Y/n walked up to Five, resting an elbow on his shoudler, and quietly spoke "Well, you were wrong. We're still here."

Five nods "I guess I was."

Y/n looked at him "It seems thing are better than before. Plus, no sign of marigold."

Five nods "It truly is a miracle."

Y/n smiled and turned to him "Well, I think we've been through enough together for this not to be weird anymore."

Five frowned "For what not to be-"

Y/n cut him off by hugging him tightly. Five looked slightly surprised but hugs her back for a moment.

After a bit, Y/n pulled away smiling "Hey, that didn't feel weird!"

Five smiled slightly "No, it didn't."

Five caught Lila's eye, Lila letting out a small smile. Five smiled back at her.

After a while of chatting and laughing, the siblings all stood with each other, Diego pulling Y/n close as he said "I'm glad everything worked out in the end."

They all nod a moment before Y/n pointed out "Hey, isn't that the Swedes?"

They all frown and look over, seeing the three brothers playing frisbee together.

"Oh, yeah." Diego smiled.

Five then points "And that's Hazel and Agnes."

The siblings look around the park, seeing old enemies and friends living completely different lives.

They also seen Grace, now human rather than robot, the Handler, Herb and Dot, Chett and a few other old commission workers.

Y/n felt herself tearing up when she caught eye of May, throwing a ball for the familiar dog known as Max.

Then, she noticed bright yellow marigold flowers under a tree. Nine of them embedded in the ground together.

Klaus came up behind Y/n, turning her around and hugging her tightly as Allison sat with Claire, helping the twins, Sloane and Luther make crowns.

Then, the radio that the family had brung started playing a song that the family knew too well.

I Think We're Alone Now by Tiffany began to play, making the siblings all smile widely at each other.

As the words began to play, they all started dancing around the picnic, confusing the rest of them. They danced like they did in the Academy on the day of their fathers funeral.

Eventually, Luther had gotten the kids up and started teaching them how to do his favourite dance move. The Crab.

Then, the rest of the family joined in, apart from Y/n's biological family, who just watched with laughter.

The Hargreeves were together again. They were a family again. With nothing in their way. No powers. No apocalypse. No end of the world.

They could finally live in peace.
