It was dark now, Diego was lying in his bed facing the ceiling as he fiddled with a knife in his hand. He had spoken to his Mom and she seemed, emotionless.

A knock was heard from his door, he sat up and saw Y/n, dressed in a baggie white t-shirt and plaid pyjama shorts that were hardly visible, due to the size of the shirt. She smiled at him "You okay?"

Diego thought about it for a moment before standing up and walking over to her. He gently pulled her inside his room and closed the door.

He turned to look at her "Do you think. . . Mom ever, you know, feels things?"

Y/n huffed as she thought "Pftt, I'm not sure. She seems to."

"But, how are we sure it's not Dad?" Diego said as he finally stepped away from the door, walking around Y/n.

Y/n frowned as he brushed past her "What are you talking about?"

Diego sighed, sitting down on his bed again, and looked up at Y/n "Vanya said something. I couldn't help but think that she had a point."

Y/n sat next to him, though his eyes stayed where she was stood, as she asked "What did she say?"

"Well, Dad built Mom. What if everything she said and done. . ." Diego shrugged as he looked down "What if it was him?"

Y/n scoffed "That's ridiculous-"

"Is it?" Diego interupted, looking at Y/n "She has a point, Dad built her. He programmed her."

Y/n looked at him with a frown before looking down, thinking. He had a point. She looked at Diego's hand and took it in hers, making Diego look down at their hands.

"Well, at least she loved us, right?" Y/n looked up at him again "She showed us the affection we needed." Diego shifted his eyes to her, their faces inches apart "Took care of us. Not the way Dad did."

Diego nodded slightly before frowning, their faces still close, and speaking with a low tone of voice "Do you hear that?"

Y/n frowned as both their heads turned to the door, listening carefully. The sound of heavy footsteps.

Y/n frowned and turned to look at Diego with a whisper, both locking eyes "That doesn't sound like Luther."

He then whispered back "Yeah, and it doesn't sound like one person." Y/n went to stand up but Diego pulled her back down "What are you doing?"

"What if it's people wanting to kill us?" Y/n suggested.

Diego nodded "Exactly." He caressed her cheek as he winked "Stay behind me, Princess."

Y/n rolled her eyes before following Diego out of the room. They look down the right side of the hallway, seeing nothing, then turn to the left. They both frown when they see two figures, one tall and one short. The shorter one had a pink dog-like mask on and the other had a blue bear mask on. But the two large guns in their hands were clear to see.

They heard the gun cock and bullets started flying towards them, making them rush down the hall while Diego threw knifes at the two, smacking against the masks, and Y/n covered her head while she ran.
