Y/n awoke to the familiar hum of the ship's engines and the dim glow of the control panel. The journey through hyperspace had been smooth, with only the occasional shudder as the ship traversed the vast distances between stars. He stretched, feeling the stiff muscles from another night in the pilot's seat.

Bix was already active, her beeps and whirrs more subdued now, reflecting the calm of their journey. Y/n rubbed his eyes and checked the status monitors. The readouts confirmed that they were nearing the end of their hyperspace jump. Dakorr was approaching fast.

"Morning, Bix," Y/n said, reaching for a ration bar from his food stash. "Looks like we're almost there."

Bix floated closer, her sensor lights flickering with anticipation. The droid projected a holographic display of Dakorr, now visible as a swirling ball of orange and red through the cockpit window. The planet's harsh desert landscape was becoming increasingly detailed, with its rugged terrain and sprawling canyon systems.

Y/n frowned at the display. "Well, it's not exactly a vacation spot, is it?" Bix emitted a series of beeps that seemed to offer encouragement as Y/n prepared for the descent. Y/n finished his ration bar and glanced at the controls. "Alright, let's get this ship ready for landing."

He adjusted the ship's trajectory and began the descent into Dakorr's atmosphere. The ship trembled slightly as it entered the planet's upper layers, the view outside shifting from a deep, star-studded black to the fiery orange of the desert landscape.

The atmospheric entry was rough, with the ship shaking and buffeted by turbulent air currents. Y/n focused on the controls, guiding the ship through the turbulent conditions. "Hang in there, Bix," he said, gripping the controls tightly. He took a deep breath and prepared for the descent. Alright, Y/n just don't crash. It's like playing an arcade game."

Y/n kept his focus steady, guiding the ship through the turbulent layers and into the clearer air below. He could see the expansive deserts and canyons now more clearly.

"Looks like we're headed for the city in the canyon," Y/n remarked, aligning the ship's trajectory with the coordinates Bix had chosen. The planet's major city, hanging from the canyon's wall was their destination. He hoped it would provide the supplies and information they needed.

As the ship descended toward the canyon city, Y/n marveled at the sight that unfolded before him. The city seemed to cling precariously to the canyon walls, a network of platforms and bridges suspended over the vast abyss below. Structures made of weathered metal and stone jutted out from the rock, connected by precarious-looking walkways that crisscrossed between them. The reddish-orange hue of the desert sands contrasted sharply with the darker, industrial tones of the city, creating an otherworldly yet starkly beautiful landscape.

"Looks like something out of a sci-fi novel," Y/n muttered, guiding the ship toward one of the designated landing pads that jutted out from the canyon wall like a metal appendage. Bix beeped in agreement, its sensors already scanning the area for potential hazards or welcoming parties.

As the landing gears touched down with a soft thud, Y/n powered down the ship's engines. The hum slowly faded, leaving behind the eerie quiet of the canyon city. He unbuckled his harness and stood up, stretching once more before strapping the lightsaber to a hook on his pants and wrapping the cloak around his body.

"Alright, Bix," Y/n said, glancing at the droid, "Let's see what this place has in store for us." Bix hovered by his side, its lights blinking in an eager rhythm.

The ship's hatch hissed open, and Y/n was immediately hit by the dry, hot air of Dakorr. He squinted against the harsh sunlight that streamed into the canyon, casting long shadows across the city's platforms. As he stepped out onto the landing pad, the sounds of the city reached him distant echoes of machinery, voices, and the occasional roar of an engine.
