Chapter Four

I walk side by side with Junya,as usual,heading home.

Jun gives a loud groan and I watch him stick his notebook back into his bag,sighing.

"Mr. Tanaka hates me,I swear. He's always assigning me extra homework."

I shrug.

"Maybe you deserve it?"

He shoves me and I laugh.

It was a pretty day out. I was really enjoying myself today,in a good mood.

I felt like things were going up-hill.

I smile and leaves start to flutter down from the trees,surrounding us before eventually falling to our feet.

Junya notices,looking around us.

"Vi? You happy or something?"

I blink.

"Why?"

"Because,"

He starts,

"It's spring. Leaves don't fall this much in spring. Your powers are making the leaves fall,aren't they?"

I turn away quickly,focusing,and the leaves stop falling.

Jun's quiet.

Then,

"Are you feeling happy because of last night?"

I look at him,confused.

"What are you talking about?"

He looks away.

"Well ..you kinda were,like,moaning in your sleep last night."

My face flushes and I groan.

This was akemi's fault.

He has the power to control dreams and he put his palm to my forehead last night,causing me to have quite the dream of him and I.

How embarrassing...

Jun looks over at me.

"Who exactly....were you dreaming about?"

"No-one." I snap,glaring at Jun.

He raises his brows at me,looking away.

"Uh huhn..."

I look away as well.

I decided to peek at him,seeing he was staring at his feet.

He seemed in a daze,lost in deep thought.

He notices me and meets my eyes.

But for some reason,I can't break eye contact.

When did Jun become so handsome...?

Those sky blue eyes,pink parted lips...and since when did his jaw-line become less round?

It was sharp and smooth,and brought out his features so nicely.

Jun's cheeks start to flush and he shoves my head away.

I lose balance,but gain it back to see him squeezing his bag straps,looking away.

"Quit looking at me like that..." He mumbles.

"Like what?"

He gestures violently at my face.

"With the eyes!! The little silent stare!"

I turn from him.

"Sorry....I love you bestie."
