I close the door to the boarding house,taking a deep breath.

Ittoki was in the kitchen,and he notices me.

"Yo,vi."

"Is...kyota home yet?"

He blinks,nodding and gesturing to the hall way.

"In his room."

I nod and head down the hall,knocking on kyotas door.

"Come in."

I ease the door open to see kyota on his bed,on his phone.

He blinks at the sight of me,surprised.

I close the door behind me.

"Hey...kyota."

He looks down.

"...hey,vi." He takes his earbuds out,sitting up.

That was different from his usual cold attire.

I come over and sit on the bed.

"Can...we talk about yesterday?"

He looks at me,then down and clicking his phone off,setting it on the table.

"Yeah,sure."

I look down.

"...you...could have just told me, kyota. That you were my soul mate."

He looks up at me.

Then down.

"I was scared,vi. You don't understand."

I nod,staring into my lap.

"No,I do understand...I'm...crushing on a few people myself..."

I look up at him.

"And...you're one of them."

He looks into my eyes,surprised.

He looks down.

I tilt my head,reaching out and pulling his hood down and shifting to my knees,scooting close to him until I'm in front of him.

I reach for his ears and look at him for permission.

He looks down,not answering me.

He's....letting me touch them.

I softly grab his ears,rubbing them gently.

His eyes close and he grunts,blushing.

I lean back,looking in his face as I rub them.

"It's okay,kyota. I really like your ears."

He shakes his head.

"Vi,no. Don't you understand what touching them does...?"

I halt,pulling my hands away.

Then looks away.
