Chapter Nineteen

I skipped work today to work on my powers.

I had to learn to control them.

I made sure to go far into the woods,so no one could see.

Calming my mind,I focus my energy into the water and attempt to carry it into the air.

But it wobbles,unsteady,before falling back into the lake.

"Dammit!"

I sigh, frustrated and kick the tree.

"It's not the tree's fault you're doing this wrong." Says a voice.

I look up to see keiya,casually watching me from a tree.

"What the fuck are you doing here??"

He flicks two of his fingers in my direction and my body automatically moves into a stance,out of my control.

"You need to straighten your posture. Try again."

I sigh and straighten my posture.

He grins at that.

"Look at you,doing as told. What a good girl."

I cringe at his words,glaring at him.

Now I definitely couldn't focus.

He rolls his eyes at that,closing them.

After a deep breath he opens them,locking eyes with me.

And I suddenly feel an aroma of calm.

I felt....safe.

Safe around this shit head.

But it was a facade.

I could tell.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

He grunts.

"Clearing your mind so you can focus."

"You can do that??" I was in disbelief.

He glares and pinches his fingers together tightly,causing me to shut up forcefully.

I literally could not talk.

But my mind was clear,suddenly.

I lift the water with ease and set it back gently into the pond.

He nods in approval.

"Not bad. You're pretty strong. What are you,18?"

I nod.

He tilts his head at me.

"You're cute,too."

He hops up,walking towards me and reaches out,grabbing my face to examine me.

I go to push him away but I'm frozen in place,due to his powers.

He takes a lap around my body,looking me up and down.

"Can you stop fucking looking me up and down like I'm a snack??"

He meets my eyes.

"Such hostility coming from such a nobody like yourself. Let's get something straight,princess,"

He leans in my face.

"You fucking need me. I don't need you. Now shut the fuck up,do not speak unless spoken to."

He pats my cheek twice before going back to examining me.

He lifts my shirt,his hands grabbing my hips.

"Perfect child bearing hips."

He lifts my shirt up above my breasts suddenly,lifting my bra up with it with ease.
