Chapter Thirty

I walk down the hallway,heading to homeroom,glancing inside the classes as I pass by.

I halt as I see ittoki sitting at a desk inside a classroom.

Noticing the girls look at him and whisper,giggling as he stares out the window.

He really was popular among the girls...

Why did it give me this jealous feeling...?

Why ..did it make me angry all of the sudden?

Why couldn't he just....notice me...?

As if feeling my gaze on him,ittoki turns and meets my eyes.

He blinks,confused.

He gives a small nod of greet.

I found myself straightening my posture,my heart beating fast.

I turn my head,unable to wave back and speed off down the hall.

Fuck,he probably thought I was acting so fucking awkward...

I walk into my home room to see maemi dancing to a song playing off her phone.

The guys watching in adoration.

I envied her careless attitude.

To be who she was and to be adored by just being herself.

She didn't have to hate on anyone or pretend to be something she wasn't to get someone's attention.

I respected her for it...

Her eyes find mine.

"Vivian! ❤️"

She grabs my wrist suddenly,tugging me to her and spinning me.

"Dance with me,vi! I missed you!"

She swings me around and I laugh,letting loose and shrugging off my overthinking.

I couldn't really dance well,but with her leading,I was doing just fine.

Reina and hanami laugh,clapping to the music.

I look into maemis eyes,smiling and she looks back into mine.

Her eyes were a beautiful blue,just like mine were.

The way she was staring at me...I felt warm...and loved.

She looked at me as if she were adoring every inch of me.

The way she gracefully moved her body...it was like i were in a trance.

She...was so beautiful...

"Vi?"

I halt and look back to see uehara at the classroom door.

Maemi halts as well,grunting.

"Damn. Even his stare is terrifying."

Uehara points at me.

"You. Let's go."

I blink and look back at maemi.

"I should probably see what he wants." I say,shrugging.

Maemi rolls her eyes and shoots him away.

"Vi is mine right now. Come back later."

Uehara looks at her like he's just so over her shit and ignores her,looking at me.

I look back at maemi.

"It'll be quick."

Maemi sighs an annoyed sigh and nudges me towards him.

"Fine. Bring her right back."
