Chapter Forty Nine

I watch as ittoki munches on his lunch on the roof of the college.

Leaning against the fence,while scrolling his phone.

Why...was he so beautiful to me?

His pretty blue eyes. The way the sun lit his face,casting shadows in all the right places.

I think about how keiya said I was the only one he could feel.

Was...this just a crush? Or the real thing?

He..liked Aya though.

And Aya liked him.

We were only pretend dating.

So why...did I want much more...?

Before I know it,I'm walkng up to him.

My legs were moving on their own.

I wanted him.

Wanted him to look at me the same way he looked at Aya.

He notices me approaching and raises a brow.

"Yo,vi."

His casual poker face.

Showing no emotion as usual.

He was beautiful.

He was art.

Art that had imperfections.

But that was okay,because art wasnt meant to be liked.

It was meant to make you feel something.

And what I felt at this very moment...

I grab his cheek,standing on my tip toes,connecting my lips to his.

He doesn't pull away.

He kisses me back.

And I pull away,to see him scanning the area.

"What,is keiya watching or something?"

He thought I was doing this...so keiya would think we were still dating...?

"...no." I reply.

Ittoki looks at me, confused.

"Then why'd you kiss me?"

My heart was pounding.

I was staring deep into his eyes.

"Because...I felt like it." I say.

His brows furrow,still confused.

"...I like you,ittoki. Do..you want to think about being in a poly relationship...with me?"

He stares at me for a long time. Then looks away.

"....vi,"

He starts,balling his trash up and tossing it in the trash can beside him.

He looks down,then back at me.

"I don't like you,vi. I like Aya. You know that."

My face falls and I feel my heart drop.

"But...Aya was hanging with another dude the other day..."

He blinks.

"Who told you that??" He asks.

"Tsu...it was why you got drunk and kissed me."

His grunts.

"Tetsuyas always running his big mouth. Wait-- I kissed you??"

I nod.

He shakes his head.

"Listen,I'm not sure if Aya and this guy will become a thing. But just in case,I'm going to wait for her. I do not desire any one else,vi. I'm sorry,but I politely decline."
