Chapter Forty Three

I walk into the hallway,seeing tetsuya at the table and kyota in the fridge.

He grabs a soda and sits next to tetsuya at the table.

I decide to join them,sitting across from kyota.

I smile big,looking at kyota but he's not focused on me,he's looking at his soda.

"Kyota! How'd you sleep?" I ask.

Kyotas quiet,sipping his soda.

I furrow my brows.

Was he...ignoring me?

I look at tetsuya,he seemed just as confused as me.

"Are you giving her the silent treatment because you don't have the balls to tell her you're crushing on her?"

I see kyo kick Tsu under the table and he yelps suddenly.

"Ow!! Kyo??!"

Kyota ignores him,sipping his drink.

"Did...I do something wrong?" I ask kyo.

Kyota doesn't answer,and still avoids eye contact.

"Nah,kyo enjoyed kissing you the other day,he just doesn't want to admit- OWW! STOPPIT KYO!!"

tetsuya tries to kick him back under the table,but was unsuccessful.

Kyota sips his soda still,looking at the table.

"I'm not sure what you mean by kissing,Tsu." Kyota says.

Tetsuya furrows his brows.

"When y'all went into the closet together?? Remember??" He asks.

Kyota doesn't look up still.

"Nothing happened in there. We just waited until the time was up. That's it." Kyota says,casually.

I raise a brow at kyota.

Why was he pretending nothing happened??

Kyota looks up and locks eyes with me.

I think accidentally, because he immediately looks away.

Fine,I'll play along to his little game.

"No,he's right,Tsu. Nothing really happened." I shrug.

Tetsuya furrows his brows,confused.

I tilt my head at kyota.

"Kyo...I'm hungry. Will you cook me something...?"

Kyota ignores me, sipping his drink.

I reach out and put my hand on top of his,causing him to flinch and look at me.

I tilt my head,giving him begging eyes.

"Please,kyo...?"

Kyotas cheeks flush pink slightly and he sets his drink down,getting up and heading over to the stove.

"I was going to cook breakfast anyways...I suppose I can make sure theres enough for everyone...." He mumbles.

I raise my brows.

"Ooo,egg sandwich??"

"Omelette. Take it or leave it." He mutters.

I nod. "Deal."

"Oh,kyo can you put ketchup on mine??" Tetsuya asks.

"Make your own." Kyota replies,poker faced.

"What?? But you said enough for everyone!!" Tetsuya whines.
