"are you going to get me benched." Tim asks dryly not even looking at Lucy as they walk to the shop.
"If you're benched or not Bradford it's not my fault it's yours okay? I'm just going to simply tell grey how today's shift went and it's up to him what he does with you." Lucy answers in the same tone.

"I can't be benched Chen you don't understand! I'm sorry about this morning" Tim pleads.
"What don't I understand Tim?" Lucy asks curiously.
"Just I..you know what, forget it. Do whatever you fucking want" he snaps completely changing his attitude not wanting to open up to Lucy.
Lucy now realises this man has a lot of hidden baggage. She frowns as Tim as he jumps into the shop and slamming the door.

She sighs and goes to the other side of the shop and gets in.
"You know..as much as we aren't on good terms I'm a great listener.." she says kind of softly, Tim shakes his head.
"No." He snaps turning the shop on and pulling out the garage.

"I'm just saying..you're clearly going through a tough time..and maybe I could relate in some ways" Lucy shrugs and Tim sighs.
"I'm not talking to you. Enough okay? I don't see you talking to anyone. Even the way you went on your first day Chen all secretive and no personal talk. So please just drop it." He snaps.
"Okay." Lucy shrugs simply.

"7-Adam-100 active burglary at Ralph's supermarket, 260 brea area" dispatch says through the radio.
"7-Adam-100 control responding" Lucy says into the radio.

"We will take this call and head for lunch" Tim says dryly and Lucy nods.
They arrive on the scene and withdraw their guns and peak in.
"One suspect, they are armed" Lucy whispers and Tim nods.

"I'll go in here, you go through the back." He whispers and Lucy nods.
"Radio when you're entering." Lucy says before running to the back of the store.

"7-Adam-100 a to b, Chen I'm entering" Lucy hears through the radio.
Lucy radios back and they both enter.

"LAPD HANDS UP!" They both shout at the suspect who drops their gun and the bag of goods they were stealing.
Lucy kicks the gun away from the suspect and grabs the bag of goods to secure into evidence.

Tim cuffs the suspect and takes him to the shop.
"okay I'm going to put this into the shop and I'll come back for your statement" Lucy says to the cashier, they nod and Lucy follows Tim out.

"Let him go!" A hoarse woman voice shouts to Tim to let the suspect go.
Tim and Lucy and the suspect turns and Tim pales..

"Let him go!" The woman repeats, she was blonde with greasy hair, dirty clothes, Lucy looks at the woman's arms and it's clear she was a drug addict.

"Can you step away ma'am" Lucy shouts and she shakes her head and comes closer, Lucy glances at Tim and sees how pale, shocked he looked.
"Uhh let me take the suspect" Lucy sighs knowing there's something wrong, she pulls the suspect away from Tim and locks him in the shop then she puts evidence into the lock box in the trunk.

Lucy pulls away with the suspect and Tim takes a deep breath.
"I-Isabelle" he stutters.
"I don't know you. Let my boyfriend free!"she snapped and Tim's heart shattered, his knees nearly buckled..

"I-Isabelle..it's me Tim..your..your husband" Tim stutters, your husband felt like vomit coming out his mouth..first of all she left him, took his grands worth of savings and everything that was worth selling them she's now cheating on him, little did he know Lucy was behind him and she heard that..her breath hitched and she covered her mouth in shock.
