The time I was fused with my cat and sent into the Dragon Ball world

Part 1- How it Began.

As Zoom sleeps, I sit watching a blank screen. There's no internet for 2 days due to mould in certain rooms, so I'm just spacing out as he sleeps after crashing out on Catnip.

He's honestly adorable when he sleeps, especially when you can hear him purring away as if he were the engine of a car. Yet...something feels off today, as if my life, and my cats are both about to change forever.

My eyes focus...elsewhere. My mind tells me something is there, but I can't see it. In a moment, there's a feeling of distorted space taking form. My feeling of things being off was right. The distorted space becomes a portal, a purple demon emerging from it. Fu, the unpredictable son of Towa from the Demon Realm, dressed in his usual attire. A black t-shirt, yellow pants, a blade in its sheath, his usual.

As my eyes focus on him, his shift to mine. A soul and mind that seek more, but held back by body. There's a moment of silence before the walking enigma that is Fu speaks up. "I need some help with a new experiment. We don't have much time before the Supreme Kai of Time sends someone here, so I'll make it snappy. I want to put you in my world. I'll give you your ideal body, and since you think about how it'd be to be a cat, fuse you with your absolutely ADORABLE cat. Deal?"

My mind processes all he said. Fuse me with Zoom? Grant me my ideal body? How will he do it? How would that change me? There's not much time, but I know this world doesn't have anything for me. "...I'll help. First, ideal body, then fusion. I'll pack things for the journey." I declared, in an accepting tone, knowing that this world won't progress without my presence due to basic logic. Matter can't disappear and not return.

Fu's expression turns to a happy, excited smile as he uses Demon Realm Magic to alter my body and power. I jump up to avoid causing damage with the change as my stomach recedes into a set of abs, a six-pack. My frame gains a lot of musculature. My intelligence and power skyrocket. My senses hieghten.

"This is great! You're so strong, but we're just beginning! I'll do the fusion now, before anyone arrives!" Fu excitedly yelled, looking genuinely overjoyed with the results. With another use of magic, my cat disappears into my body.

Ki explodes further out of me, a blonde cat tail taking form, a set of cat ears taking form. Whiskers grow. Barely containing the ki on pure instinct, I get to packing at high speed. The speed is hard to control, but with the vision of a cat, this is easier to handle.

In 5 minutes, I'm packed and ready. "Thank you, Fu. This is my chance to fix my life, to improve myself. I'll take it." I told him, taking a moment of quiet before continuing. "Even if I can't ever return here...I know my cat will always be with me. I'll miss my mother and father, but I'll be happy. They'd want me to succeed. To be happy." Fu's expression is an excited smile still.
"Come on, let's go! We don't have much time!" Fu hurriedly, but excitedly told me. I and him quickly disappear into the portal, the space closing up as the world I once knew became frozen in time until I return.
