The water nearby from the waterfall flows in a serene undisturbed movement. Standing on a rock, I look at Gato, both of us in Cat God.
"We're going to push you to the blue form with this session. Be ready." I warn my son with a calm yet stern tone. Gato becomes slightly nervous but nods. The aura I give off despite being serene and flowing, it's intimidating. Someone can be calm despite also being angry, after all.
"Alright, father. I've cancelled some plans ahead of time and told a girl I've been talking with that we'll be here." Gato responds, causing my eyebrow to raise in curiosity, but I focus myself as Gato flies in, throwing a punch. A wind blows through, and the water crashes against land as I catch the punch, the shockwave causing a mini tsunami through in the waterfall, exposing a hidden pathway I notice. Before Gato can even react, he's sent flying with a kick towards the pathway. A streak of the same serene godly aura flies past him, me no longer holding back. Gato's eyes widen, but as he turns around, ki strings slam him into the cave and risk a collapse if it wasn't for me aiming to make it a shallow spot or a new pathway to prevent collapse.
"Impressive, son. You're still going." I comment with a calm yet subtle smile, happy that Gato is quite strong. "You aren't getting tired, either. Care to explain that?" Gato coughs but slowly steps out, his body healing quickly with the Cat God form active.
"My body appears to be in a sort of limbo. Mother, from Otherworld. You, from the living world." Gato responds, explaining how he isn't getting tired. "I don't need to sleep. My body has the positives of an Otherworld soul, but also the fused potential from you. My own path seems like it'll split from yours, too. My potential as a triple hybrid has also gone through something recently. I've been holding back this entire time." My eyes shift to a more amused look as I kick things into higher gears, transforming into blue.
"Then stop holding back." I demand, more focused than ever. "Show me this power. If this is what I think it is, I'll have to go to my final form." Gato nods, his aura shifting from the serene godly flame to an intense white with blue lightning. My eyes widen. This is what I think it is. The Mystic form, or potential unleashed. Ultimate is what I call it, though. "Amazing. Did you get your potential unlocked by elder kai?" Gato smirks and nods, looking like he's in base, but his hair is spiked.
"I did. I was told by Beerus when he was training me about how far you're going. He never knew about anything beyond Blue, but I had a suspicion you wouldn't settle there." Gato answers in response, confident in his power. My excitement starts to rise, my auras blue darkening, the white glow from it becoming blindingly bright. He flies out of the waterfall immediately, sensing what's about to happen. The waterfall collapses as a dark blue light replaces the collapsed spot. The collapsed rocks fade away with the use of a Hakai. This battle just got into high gear. Ultimate Gato, against me in my Primal Blue form. Before it can continue, however, someone rushes into view. A girl I don't recognise, but he seems to recognise. My father instincts kick in immediately.
"So this is the girl. You got a girlfriend already, son?" I question with a smirk, the battle stopping as the girl looks between us in shock. Gato becomes flustered and lowers down to the ground, looking between us.
"This is Alina. We met during my time at Orange Star." Gato responds, his face visibly red. The girl looks between us further, in shock.
"I knew you'd be doing father son bonding, but this is not what I expected!" Alina shouts in concern, looking between us. "What's going on here? Why are you fighting?" I sigh and return to my base form, Gato doing the same.
"I'm the father of Gato. I see you've been getting along with my son." I tell her with a calm yet hardened demeanour. "I'll say this. If you dare break his heart, I will make you feel the wrath of a thousand suns and keep you alive to make you feel the primal fear of GOD." Alina freezes but quickly nods, knowing my threat is true.
"Dad, please calm down. You're scaring her." Gato tells me, knowing how protective I can be since he remembers what happened to the last person that got on my bad side. He was traumatised and is still in therapy after 3 years. I slowly take deep breaths, then calm myself down.
"You know how much I care about you, Son. I just want to make sure she doesn't do anything." I respond, calm again, but still a bit on guard as I look between him and Alina. "I believe you're strong enough to handle this situation then, son. I'm impressed. Welcome to the fight against my counterpart. We need one more person on our side for this, and I'll get him now."
