"It isn't him. Even at the crime scene, the demon wasn't in him. The victim denied it too but it has to be related to him. The aura around him doesn't feel right.." Dunk told P'First, Pond and Phuwin once they were on the way back. P'First had left his car keys with Khaotung so that they had a ride back. Joong felt it was best he left before the police arrived. While they could explain his presence along with Khaotung, it would be difficult to explain his.
"I'll find what I can about this JJ." Phuwin stated.
"This is the second victim and Khun Joong is on their list. We have to figure this out soon. Either there's another victim or khun Joong is next." They could hear the urgency in Dunk's voice.
"How do you want to approach this?" P'First looked at Dunk.
"Phi, can you see if you can gain entry to the courtroom for this case? I need an extra pair of eyes. We need to find out about this victim too. Why him? He said he paid his sins with his death. It's peculiar..." Dunk was confused by his words as he replayed it in his mind.
"I'll team up with Khao and find out more about the victim. He'll let me know when is the next court date, I'll see if I can get an entry." P'First offered.
"Alright, we'll have eyes on JJ. Let's figure out what is his role here. Hopefully we'll find out what exactly about this victim that made him on the list. I'll keep an eye on khun Joong. There has to be something about him that they are after." Dunk said while he was deep in thought.
"While I know him well, I think Khao knows him better. I'll let you know what I've gathered after." P'First said before saying goodbye to them.
"I'll help Phuwin out with the search on JJ but we're not letting you out of our sight." Pond said firmly.
"I promise I won't go anywhere without informing." Dunk swore. He knew how they can get. They had been like this ever since the scare they had with his near death experience. They swore never to let him out of their sight ever again even if it meant that they had to follow wherever he goes. Phuwin can work remotely with his IT work. Pond was living off comfortably with his passive income. There wasn't anything he can't solve with the people working for him. He may occasionally need to answer a phone call or two. It wasn't an inconvenience at all.

It was almost a month till JJ had his court date. Nothing strange had happened in between. First's impression of JJ was the same as Dunk. There wasn't anything odd about him. Nothing demonic had touched him but yet the aura around him seemed a bit off. JJ had gotten off easier than Star's case, being the fact that Chadok was a grown middle age man who was three times the size of JJ. Despite the fact that he was with the dead body, his prints were no where near the murder weapon. There clearly was no reason for JJ to kill him.

But what puts him at the murder scene?
That was the billion dollar question that even Dunk can't figure out. He strode out of the lift and was about to meet Joong and Khaotung at their office before he felt the weird vibe coming from the lift next to the one he came out of. That's when he saw him.
He had the exact same face as JJ but he was clearly hosting a demon within. He had smirked at him before the lift shut. He quickly dialed for Phuwin seeing if there was a chance for him or Pond to catch him. He was wondering at this point if he should take the stairs or the wait for the next lift. It was on the 18th floor after all. He cursed before rushed towards the staircase. Once he had gotten through to Phuwin, he tied a rope to the railing before abseiling his way down. Still, he had missed him at the entrance. Pond had tried to chase after him but even with his speed, he had lost him to the peak hour rush crowd. Both him and Phuwin only manage to get a glimpse of him before they went back to Dunk.
"He's not JJ, does he have a twin?" Dunk asked.
"That did not come up in the system but now that we know, it'll be easier to find." Phuwin said grimly.

"His name is AJ. JJ's biological twin. JJ was adopted. They were separated at the orphanage. They had their file hidden so deep that we didn't notice. We thought they were the same person but the two of them were sighted near each other before Star's death. They reunited." Phuwin briefed as he went through the files he had in his laptop.
"He's using him. But why? What do we know about the latest victim?" Dunk looked at First for answers.
"He's a high school teacher in an all boys school- Suppalo... manages student welfare but was said to be very strict. He makes sure that students stay in line and doesn't violate the school rules." First briefed them on the information he had gotten from Khaotung and Joong.
"High school teacher? But both Star and JJ are in uni. Do they even have the same circle?" Pond asked.
"Nope, nothing in common at all." That was odd even to First.
"Strange... What were the sins that he was willing to die for?" Dunk asked.
" A few students suffered mental health issues because of his need to maintain school conduct- depression, suicidal ideation... some completed. There really is no redemption for him." At this point Khaotung and Joong who had been observing their conversation were wondering if they were detectives or exorcists.
"... but did he realize it himself?" Dunk asked while deep in thought.
"no, it must be AJ's work." First catching on to Dunk's thought. Joong could see the way the wheels in Dunk's head was turning.
"This isn't random. They were targeted... The demon in AJ can't be executing this alone....Even though he's a high level demon, he's too low in the hierarchy. They are after something but what? " Pond and Phuwin could see Dunk was holding himself back as he looked towards Joong.
"Khun Joong, it's no longer safe for you to be alone. Not while we can't figure out what they want. Would you please stay with P'Fir and P'Khao?" Joong was surprised that he didn't offer him to stay with them but yet it made sense since he was closer to P'Khaotung than him. He nodded.

"Why would you rather P'Fir take care of him?" Phuwin looked at him in confusion.
" It's not convenient. We need to find out more about khun Joong. Look at Star or Chadok, everything seemed right on the surface but when we start digging, there's when the ugly comes out. What will we find out about khun Joong?" Dunk said as he laid back on the sofa.
"Well, he is a lawyer, he could be defending the wicked?" Pond shrugged.
"If it was that easy.... Part of me wants to go back and hit the books. It feels like it's some sort of ritual that they are completing..."
"but you're afraid they would have completed it before you're back." Phuwin helped him finish. Dunk sighed as he nodded.
"Who exactly are we dealing with this round?" Dunk couldn't help but question.

"He saw you? It's fine. All is in place now. It's time we make a move." Jeff grinned.
