Ruhanika was sleeping, hugging the pillow tightly, thinking it as a rudra. Everyone woke up at 12:00 am to surprise her. Siya patted ruhanika's face gently but she groaned and hid herself more in the pillow.
"Siya bhabhi, why take fear when Rudra is here? Let me"
Rudra said in srk style and took the jug from the dining table and poured the water on ruhanika's face.
"Aahhhhhh"
She screamed in sleep and woke up with a jerk. She looked around where the lights were off. She stretched her arms in search of rudra beside her but before that
"Happy Birthday to you"
"Happy birthday dear ruhanika, happy birthday to you"
Everyone sang the song except Rudra who was standing with a water jug and giving a toothy smile to her. She gets overwhelmed with the sense of celebration of her birthday as she didn't even know the last time she celebrated her birthday.
"Happy birthday,didi"
"Happy birthday, ruhani"
Siya and Shivani hugged her wishing excitedly.
"Happy Birthday"
Vivaan and Agastya hug her and make the arrangements of the table for cutting the cake. Ruhanika looked towards Rudra who was standing at the corner but didn't wish her yet. She was about to question him but he stood in front of her and lit the candles. Siya patted her shoulder for cutting the cake and she shrugged away her thoughts.
"Maybe I'm overthinking" she thought looking down to cut the cake but gasped in surprise looking at the number candles.
"Rudra" she yelled looking at him who looked at him "what did I do now".
"Rudra, mujhe nahi pata tha Ruhanika 52 years ki hai"
( Rudra, I didn't knew that ruhanika is 52 years old)
Agastya hinted at him by looking towards the candle which was arranged in wrong orders. Everyone laughed at his stupidity , rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.
"Kya farak padta hai ? 25 ki ho ya 52 ki rahegi meri he"
( What's the difference as whether she is 25 or 52, she will remain mine)
Rudra asserted re arranging the candle and stood up giving puppy eyes to her girlfriend.
"Make a wish"
Shivani exclaimed looking at Ruhanika who nodded her head.
Maybe, the old ruhanika would have not celebrated her birthday or made any wish as if nothing mattered. She had built walls around her heart, retreating into a cocoon of solitude, convinced she had no reason to wish for something more.But today was different. She had discovered her world-her joy, her comfort, her everything wrapped up in one person: Rudra. He was her anchor in tumultuous seas, the reason she woke up with hope each day. The once-distant memories of joy returned, illuminating her heart and providing a new sense of purpose. As she took a deep breath, she was ready to make a wish, not for herself, but for the love that had reignited her spirit. She knows her world,her happy place, her comfort person, her life, her man and her love. She has Rudra, she never wishes for anything after her mother's death but today she is going to and that too for him.
