Third Person's POV :
Ace entered the meeting room in Big mom's castle
It was just a day journey here and Big mom really wanted to meet him as soon as possible
"Mamamamama, You are here" She said, looking at him up and down
"Pleasure to meet you my queen" Said Ace
"Oh you can drop the formalities!" She said
Ace took a seat
"I will like to go back home as soon as possible, can we keep this short?" He asked, he wasn't a fan of big mom, she is known for being greedy and not caring about her kingdom's people much
"You are confident I see" She said
"Well that's something which is needed to be the king" She added
"And? Why was I called here all the way from Grandline?" Asked Ace, Marco standing behind his seat
"You seem to really be in a hurry, worried to keep your fiance alone in that country?" She asked
"... What do you mean?" Asked Ace
"I mean, there are rumors going on about you and the little princess not even seeing each others face for a year or two... Well rumors are just rumors! They can't be trusted!" She said, an obvious grin in her face
"She was just young and I didn't wanted to force a girl still growing up to feel suffocated to act like a wife to anyone" Said Ace
"And you may not 'hear this new rumor' which says that our relationship is as strong as it can be recently" He added
Big Mom grinned bigger
"Then why are you guys not getting married yet? I get that you didn't want to force her to act like a grown up when she was a child... But don't forget, she was send to bear the child of your blood and reward the famjly with the next heir, childrens are a must in the royal family as soon as their father gets crowned king" She said
".. Well it's time to change those old traditions" Said Ace, he was this cloee to snapping
"I won't beat around the bushes anymore" Said Big mom, in a serious tone
"I will appreciate that" Said Ace

"Marry my daughter Pudding" She stated
... Marco's eyes widened, how dare she asking Ace to marry her daughter else when Ace's wife is there looking after them back home?
How cruel is the Royal politics
Ace sweat dropped
"I have to reject that offer" He said, getting up his seat
..
"I am returning home today, to my wife, your majesty" He said, as Marco opened the door for him
"I know those are just excuses Prince, you and her don't share the same feelings, do consider my offer, it's beneficial for both me and You--"
Ace closed the door with a loud thud
Big mom grinned bigger
"Or else it will come back to bite you soon" She muttered to herself
...
"I am sorry Sabo I don't share the same feelings" Said Y/n, she can't run away this time
It's wrong
"I know... Thank you for saying it directly to me" He said with a sad smile, looking down
"Don't hate me" Said Y/n
Sabo shook his head
"It's just- I don't even know when the feelings turned into something more-- I am sorry" He said, times and times again
Y/n hugged him
"You are my best friend, don't be sad" She said
A tear almost dropped from his eyes
"Is it because of Ace?" He asked, still hugging
Y/n let go of the hug, staring at Sabo directly
She nodded
"𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐜𝐞" She said, words meant for Sabo to hear, which came across to Luffy because he was inside the treehouse
"I see.... I will not give up tho" Said Sabo
"My mind isn't changing" She replied
"I will work hard.. This time.. No sneaky ways.. I will make you realize my feelings for you Y/n!" Sabo said, motivated
.... Y/n didn't had the time to say anything to him, he was long gone
Should I feel bad? She asked herseld
Should I tell Ace? She thought
... I should once he returns home

It was nighttime, Ace was still on his way home
Luffy and Sabo were at the terrace, playing catch
"It's been a while since you called me to play" Said Luffy, catchinf the ball
"Yeah last we played was with Y/n a year ago" Said Sabo
Luffy nodded
"Then she got too busy with work so we also stopped" He said
"Today... " Sabo Began
"Yeah?" Asked Luffy, looking a bit down than his usual jolly self
"Today I proposed to Y/n" Said Sabo
"I know" Said luffy, in a low voice
"She rejected me" Chuckled Sabo
"I heard you guys" He said
"Yeah I knew you were in the treehouse, still like a kid" Said Sabo
".... Are you sad? Did you cry?" Asked Luffy, throwing the ball to Sabo
"... What do you want me to answer" Said Sabo
..
"Luffy I am gonna fight for my love, even if she doesn't return my feelings... I can't just ignore this growing feelings anymore"
Luffy nodded
"What are you gonna do?" Asked Sabo
"She already choosed who she likes, I can't fight with Ace" Said Luffy
Seems like he didn't liked her as much thought Sabo to himself
"You seem more mature than me" Said Sabo
"I mean Ace loves her, I can see that from the day she came here, I just didn't knew if she does or not... Now that I know her decision... Ahe was meant for Ace anyways" Said Luffy, looking down, keeping the ball in his hand this tine
.. Even Luffy noticed Ace's feelings
Sabo nodded
"Good decision"
...
After playing for a bit more Sabo went down stairs first because Koala came and called for him for some work
"Wait let me bring my hat back" Sais Sabo, walking back up the stairs
..
"Hich.... Aaahhh... Why him.... Wahhh" Cried Luffy, resting his head on the wall
Sabo's eye's widened,
... Sabo just sat on the side of the wall, not going inside to embarrasse Luffy
... I am sorry, Luffy
