I sat on the balcony overlooking the huge garden, The maids working and the knights going back home after finishing their training
The garden overviewd by the mountains, and a small carriage getting out of the mansion
Staying at the Gol's palace really made my own home feel like an ant's house
I sighed
"I wonder how Luffy is doing"
...
"Madame Y/n" Called Koala from the back, I turned around to see that she has put on a bit more makeup than normal, our house maid's blue outfit suited her perfectly as much as her twin buns did
"You done for the day?" I asked her
She nodded "do you want to go outside?" She asked back, however I shook her off
"The garden has nothing to explore anymore" I said with a little pout
"Haha, it does certainly look a bit more tiner compared to it originally is" She replied, she must be thinking the same
"I remember how the Palace's garden was soo large, Luffy or Sabo would often take me there after work to explore some more" I muttered, as Koala just listened silently
"However as much as we explored, we would find new places everytime... One time we even ended up finding a whole new waterfall!" I said, extreme joy in my tone
I glanced over to Koala, she looked at me... With pity? Sadness?
"You still miss 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬" She said
My lips shook a bit, but I hold it in
"I told you not to call me Princess anymore" I said, looking at the ground, my hairs hiding my eyes
....
"Do you still think about Sabo?" I asked as we both were glancing out through the balcony
"H- HUH? N- HUH?" She jumped up and down confused
I chuckled a little "come on! It's so obvious!" I replied, she looked down in embarrassment " I am ashamed"
"Why should you be? Because he is a prince? Well Ace was a prince and I was just a dukes daughter from the smallest country there is!" I laughed, thinking about the past where Ace used to fill my life with annoyance, filled me with happiness
"... Yeah.... Pr- Madame Y/n can I ask you if you have any information about Prince Sabo's disappearance?" She asked
.... I stopped breathing for a minute before I replied
"No"
........
Sabo left a letter to me
It was carried by Koala and written by Sabo himself
Was it a love letter? No, I don't think so
Should I not had shown it to Ace? Yes, I believe so
...
"Y/n chan! Wanna have some tea with mom?" Asked my mom excited, making me come out of my daze, I just nodded
...
We sat by the garden, looking at the flowers at full bloom
"The summer festival is coming up" She stated, "I was thinking about it, we do not have any princesses, who will be opening the ceremony?" I asked, it is an ritual done by every empire, the Princess has to open the ceremony and host it for a week
Everyone from neighboring kingdoms will be visiting as all the kingdoms have different seasons because of the location different
