Soon we found out the castle rat
"Thanks to our Saviour! Marshall Teach! We found out about that witch's plan beforehand! Otherwise we would have been sold off to the other kingdoms!" Someone gave some sort of speech in their village
Words got around and soon we found out about it
Teach was put into jail, thanks to the tortures we did to him, and luffy personally taking care of him, he said he gives up and will publicly apologize
..
We still didn't knew how, but half of the capital came in front of the castle, demanding the release of Teach, this made us realize he must have more allies
I seek out hancock at that time
I needed time and power
I didn't had both
However thanks to the duchess's help, I had more allies with me
But money can't stop them
"Publicly execute the betrayers, don't let any escape" Shanks ordered and it was do so
But how many could we punish?
They were not ready to give it, words got around to the other castles while some took advantage to lower the trading deal costs with them, as our nation was getting weak, we had no choice but to do that

Ace wanted to come help me, I gladly send him a letter about coming here as the matter was getting worst and worst
However he was already too far away, as needed half a month to come back, well I didn't mind
Sadly destiny had other plans
"We should let Teach go" Stated Shanks
"WHAT?" Asked Luffy
"The Public sees him as a hero currently, they are even saying he may be the old king's descendent who was called JoyBoy" He said
".. Joyboy?" I asked confused
Shanks Nodded
"There was a nation here, long long ago, maybe 800years ago, the founding king was named JoyBoy" He said
"... But wasn't this land empty when King Roger came and founded this nation?" I asked
He nodded "the previous kingdom was destroyed by the same Kingdom who attacked us the day of King Roger's death" He stated
This was too much information to take all at once
I gulped "If that's what needs to be done, then do so"
...
We let Teach go, after making him vow to the Sun God's name about not working against the Empire
It was a bad decision too
1 week before Ace would arrive, Teach planned an castle raid over night
....
The raid failed Thanks to Shanks and news came about the acting King's recovery going worst
With no other choice, the same day, around Noon, I gave up my position as the Future Queen and Ace's fiance
I took Koala and Luffy with me
The only remaining Royal at the castle needs more protection with the current war going on
I left him after we passed their Empire's forest, as Shanks as told me, he is sending Luffy to someone named Iva, he said they will give luffy the best care and will make sure to protect him, he also said they are Dragon's people
Now who was this Dragon?? No one was telling me?
Well by Dragon I remembered a conversation with Ace
• Flashback to the treehouse after fucking :
"Hmm you are the only biological son huh? And Sabo was an orphan who ran away from his shitty noble parents... What about Luffy?" I asked, turning my head to him
"Huh?" He asked back
"Who are Luffy's parents idiot?" I hit his head lightly
He replied to me, short and simple, in only a second
"A dragon"
"Yeah right"
"I am serious!! That's all I know! Me. and Sabo heard it at midnight when we went to steal golds! "
"Ok-ay! I hear you!" I ignored him, why would he even steal golds tho
...
I hugged Luffy for the last time, before getting up again at the carriage
"I WILL COME BACK TO BRING YOU BACK!" He shouted at me
I could not reply
...
I opened my eyes, my breath restless and body sweaty
I started taking deep breaths as if I didn't took in oxygen in for years now
"That dream again" I mutterd to myself, looking for the glass of water Koala always keeps besides my bed
Till this day I get nightmares of that event
...
I drank almost what felt like half a liter of water as I put the jug back down
Walking back to my room from the dining room, I thought about the possibility of Ace coming to the ball
"Knowing him, he will just skip it to play in the castle waterfall" I wondered to myself
...
The next day was hectic!
Me and Mom went dress shopping
After choosing some dresses, we went to the castle where my brother is a part of the Royal Knights
As me and Mom watched them train from afar, we both joked about how my sweet brother has grown up and needs a bride soon
I watched my brother blush embarrassed from afar
"Tehe your son is getting shy" I told mom
"Well you actually saw Knight Shanks and King Roger fight in front of you, your brother's training must seem like childplay to you when everyone there was so strong" She said
"Haha that's not true, for example luffy always used to get beaten up!" I said, my voice suddenly raising and my tone more jolly
"And then one time he threw Ace down the stairs and had to hid in the attic for a whole day!" I laughed as mom chuckled
"And then one day Dadan san made him cook for everyone because he stole everyone's dinner for the day!" I added making mom burst out laughing
Mom stopped laughing as she looked at me with a sad smile now, which took me a second to realize
"You must really miss them my child" She said, trying to fight back her tears
I shook my head no
"Who won't love to stay with their mother forever?" I asked her with a grin, hugging her hand making her grin back
..
"May I be the villain to break this heart warming scene of yours?" Someone asked from behind, making both me and Mother snap out of it
As I turned around
There he was, my distance cousin,
And the future king of this Empire
