"𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐋𝐀𝐃𝐘 𝐘/𝐍 𝐋/𝐍 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐋/𝐍 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐃!" The guard announced, making everyone face our way
Somehow I had already choosen a red outfit for today, off shoulder and a black and red shawl hanging around my arms
Wearing gold earrings to pair with it and my hair tied up showing off my neckneck and shoulders, Kidd, or rather the Crown Prince holding my hands as I grabbed onto it back
"Oh my" A lady whispered
"They suit each other"
"Are they secretly dating or something?"
"The duke sure would love that"
"They are even wearing matching outfits"
"I mean they are siblings too"
As words spread around, Kidd paid them no mind, grabbing onto me with a proud grin in his face, walking towards the throne where he will bow to the king, his father

We both walked through the big hallway, everyone admiring the partners of the night
"I greet you My king" I bowed
"Good evening father" Kidd said
The king laughed along "what a joyous night! I hope you both enjoy yourselves!" He exclaimed, seems like he doesn't mind me coming with his son
Well it would be pitiful for me to enter alone and dramatic for him to come to a party alone too

Plus we had been partners plenty of times in parties like this before, however we were much younger back then

As we walked through the food section, people calling onto Kidd to talk and gain his favour, he didn't left my hand in any of the situations
I know what being partners for the night means but isn't this too finace like
"Y/n chan!" Called mom from the crowd, making me turn her way, I noticed Kidd was talking to someone and didn't wanted to bother him so I left his hand and walked to mom
As we talked about how I ended up coming along with Kidd, I felt something behind my back and mom glancing over to it
"You should had told me if you were leaving my side" He came, his body towering over me, I flinched a little from the sudden movement but adjusted soon
"Kidd chan! You look so handsome today!" Mom greeted him
"It's thanks to my mom's genetics aunty" He replied back, with a chuckle
I could feel the king's glare a little from the remark
"Why did you leave any ways?" Kidd asked, facing back to me, a little frown on his face
The question sounded very possessive, a light blush came over mt face
"Well you were busy plus you are the center of attention today so I didn't--"
He put his hands on my lips, stopping me "you talk too much" He remarked, making my blush go away and replacing it with an angry vein
"I SEE" I shouted at him, making him laugh more
Suddenly the music reached my ears, it's violin
Both mine and Kidd's eyes sparked as looked at each other
"It's that song!" I said out loud, a little excited, it's our favourite singer since small

He reached out his hands
"Care to dance my lady?" He asked, a genuine smile on his lips
I grabbed onto his hand again
"Gladly"
