And he was also in Ace's nation back when I was still there, he trained there for a while and I would often hear luffy complaining about what Kidd did today in training, we were cousins from each other's mom's side but never really bothered to talk or act like one
Kidd's mom is my mom's distance cousin, connecting us somehow but not really any blood ties, it was just the name dad liked to use for us because he liked hearing we are connected to the king somehow
Kidd had returned home after Luffy became the Most famous knight a year ago, not the best but still one of the more beloved

I giggled a little "you know, you don't have to avoid saying his name in front of me" That's too funny seeing him all worked up, maybe a little cute too
"I will have to agree we really are family" I said
"Huh? Why do you say that all of a sudden?"
"You also got some of mine and ki's cuteness" I said
He blushed heavy "s-shut up woman" And with that, he changed the topic
"So about.. Ace.. He may be coming to the festival--"
"Don't worry, I bet he won't come just after the war ended and everything newly settled down back at his place... Even if he does come, it has nothing to do with me, so you don't have to waste your time worrying about this" I stated confidently
He looked at me for a second before repling
"... Okay" He sighed out a relived sigh
A small smile formed over his lips, which wasn't an evil one
Oh that's rare, I thought to Myself
"You know.. Y/n, I wasn't worried because I am the Crown Prince or for the nation, I was worried about your feelings" He muttered, his tone a little bit more gentle which I may have been imagining because of drinking tea the whole morning
The air was fresh and the knights could be heard at the background, the rose behind us glancing over at us elegantly
It would have been a perfect place for someone to get married I guess
"Goodbye for now My Prince" I bowed to Kidd a little as I began walking back to my mother

"Kidd has grown up to be such a nice Prince" My mom wiped her tear
"He has definitely matured from putting dead animals in my food" I side eyed her
"Haha, he just liked you but didn't knew how to express it" Mom reminded me
"EWW don't even remind of of those times! It was thanks to your sister-- the Queen Mother that I didn't ended up marry that lunatic" I cursed him im my heart
"Yeah, I am glad me and your aunt both doesn't favor marriage inside the family, your dad was really angry with me when I declined his order for the first time in my life" Mom said, her soul shaking thinking about the past
"Plus I heard inbreeding makes weird or adnormal children" Mom joked, changing the topic
"Yeah I believe in that, did you see Kidd? He definitely has issues" i added making her laugh more

"I wonder if Luffy was inbreeded? if not then why is he like that?" I mutterrd to myself, really meaning the question
"We don't know who his parents are so there is possibly a chance" Mom replied

*A week Later*
"BUT YOU HAVE TOOOOOO!!!" Cried Koala
"NEVER!" I shouted back
Currently Koala and I are in a back and fourth argument, she wants me to dress up like those unmarried maidens and have some romance in my life
"I AM A DIVORCEE!! IT WOULD NOT SUIT ME! NO MATTER WHAT A DIVORCEE WEARS IT DOESN'T CHANGE THE FACT THAT I AM A DIVORCEE" I said, throwing down the scandalous dress down the balcony
Koala cried more "OF COURSE YOU ARE A DIVORCEE!! BECAUSE YOU KEEP REMINDING EVERYONE AROUND YOU ABOUT IT!"
Wow she must be really pissed, or else Koala talking to me like that was rare

"... And about the invite" Muttered Marco
"Hm? Whay invite?" Asked Ace, gryting up from his table after finishing his work for the day
".. You know, that invitation of that summer festival at the.. North kingdom" Marco spoke, each words being more unrecognizable than the last
"Oh? They invited us too?" He asked
"Maybe just as an formality, we did helped Prince Kidd along with their nation a lot too" Reminded Marco
Ace remained quiet, as if thinking about something
"I will ask someone to go on behalf of the--" Before Marco could finish his line someone cut him off
"You gonna go Ace?" A girl, sitting on the chair besides Ace, both of her legs on the king's table, her bored eyes glancing from Marco to Ace's
"... Yeah" Ace finally replied
He looked straight at his Fiance
"I am gonna go, Yamato"
