Everyday we think of something
We Imagine in our own world
Protecting the light that becomes dim
Not realizing the greatest light is our Lord.
Cause they keep breaking everything we are
Keep leaving us with nothing but scars
And sometimes we fear the pain will forever last.
Leaving us broken and in pain
Wondering what was our gain
Sometimes those who love us, we turn to cast.
Pain makes us nothing but blind
Family makes us everything with a simple bind
Friends makes us something tender and kind
And Jesus makes our world perfect and fine.
All we need is someone who truly cares
Someone who could wipe away our tears
A heart which shows us tenderness in life
An individual who is willing to be with us even when we strive.
Sometimes we are scared to try a bit harder
Afraid to be left alone
Cause we feel like a rejected soul
But not knowing that lives goes further.
A wing which could soar so high in the sky
Was left alone on the dark path
It began to feel broken and scars
So broken it couldn't go far.
That's what you did to me, you let me out, can you just at least pretend to care that you left me so broken.
