It was our graduation, in sharing our poem to the world Chase, I look at the audience and I could see everyone, your Mum and your little sister Carly, I wish you were here but deep down I know your watching me. I looked at the audience and somehow I imagined you, there sitting down listening, that made me smile.
"when we wake up, realizing our dreams are gone
Striving through the storm
Going through it all.
Life has its dark road
Somers were left in the dark, so cold
Trying to hide all the scars
As we dream to be the brightest star
So high illuminating in the sky.
A dream for you and I
To be from behind bars
To heal our deepest scars
To wipe away our tears
A dream that hides our fears
a life filled with those who care.
Ladies and gentlemen, Chase Adams and I, appreciate every thing you did to help us graduate. For the love and support you should us. This is from Chase and I. We love you guys so much.
They all clapped for us, for you, I'm proud of you Chase. Next thing college. I told you I'll be fine, just fine. I love you Chase, I really do.
Your mum, I mean our Mom, ran up to me, she looks so better Chase, we all are doing great, but one thing for sure Is that will never forget you.
I got into the college we both acquired for, actually we got in. I'll be moving into college, in three months time. I wish you were here, but I guess God has plans for everyone. Our dreams came through, even if you aren't here, I'm glad you were part of my dream Chase Adams, I'm glad you were, please keep a space for me in your heart, cause believe me your in my heart too.
