Chapter 7

Before the nomination for "Best Music Video of the Year" was announced, other amazing acts received their awards. I glanced over at EXO’s table, and even though Kai looked cool as always, the others seemed a bit nervous. I shot Chan a quick smile to let him know everything would be okay and turned my gaze back to the stage, trying to calm my own nerves.

When the moment of truth arrived, and the MC was about to announce the winner, I couldn't help but sneak another peek at Kai. But, as fate would have it, our eyes met, and I quickly looked away, feeling my cheeks flush. Ugh! Why did I have to be so awkward?

“Love Shot by EXO,” the MC declared, and suddenly the whole room exploded with cheers and applause. I couldn’t help but clap along, feeling so happy for them. Their hard work and all those late nights paid off! The nine members stood up, the excitement in the air palpable. They walked gracefully to the stage, like true stars.

Suho accepted the award, beaming with pride. “It feels surreal to stand here, nominated and winning this prestigious Diamond Star award. Thank you, EXO-Ls, for your support all along the way!” His smile was contagious, and I could see the pride in his eyes as he looked at his bandmates.

“Thank you all,” he said before they bowed gracefully to the audience, who cheered even louder, giving them a standing ovation. It was one of those moments where you could feel the energy in the room, like everyone was celebrating together.

As I took it all in, the MC's voice broke through, announcing the next category. An excited buzz filled the auditorium, and I could feel my heart racing again. Everyone was waiting in suspense. And then, with a loud, clear voice, the MC revealed the winner of the Song of the Year.

“Dynamite by BTS!”

The cheers and joy that filled the room were unbelievable. I couldn’t help but join in. There couldn’t be a more deserving group; they worked so hard, and it was their moment to shine. BTS stepped onto the stage, their signature style just lighting up the room. They oozed confidence and charm; it was like they were meant to be there.

Namjoon, the leader, accepted the award. His speech was heartfelt, and you could tell how much it meant to him. “Today is special,” he began, his voice steady yet filled with emotion. “Not just for us, but for Korea. We stand here alongside two other amazing groups, united by our love for music. To get the étoile de Diamant award is such an incredible honor, and we're truly humbled.”

His words hit home, bringing a sense of unity to the audience. Everyone was completely focused on him, hanging onto every word. It felt like we were all part of something bigger, a celebration of music that brings us all together no matter where we're from.

Then, without missing a beat, BTS went into their performance of "Dynamite."

To say theor performance was great was an understatement. They lit up the stage, and their energy was infectious. I couldn’t take my eyes off them. They danced so effortlessly, pumping life into the song while the crowd went wild.

But I have to admit, even with all the excitement around me, my attention kept getting dragged over to Taehyung. He looked incredible tonight! Why hadnt i noticed it before? The way his tux fit him perfectly just made him stand out even more. His hair was styled just right, and even though the whole group was amazing, there was something special about him right then.

There was this magnetic vibe around Taehyung. It was like he shone brighter than the stars, drawing everyone's eyes. You could see it in the way he moved, how he smiled, and how he simply owned the stage. It wasn’t just about looks either; it was his confidence that made him so captivating. I mean, it made sense why he was named the world’s most handsome man.
