JENNIE'S DATE OUTFIT

V's Date Outfit

I stood up from my seat, gently pushed him into it, and watched as they worked on his face. I quickly took out my phone to snap a picture of him.
Even with his unprepared expression, the candid shot looked like a professional photoshoot. I smiled at the thought of using it as my wallpaper but quickly dismissed it, worried that my phone might accidentally turn on at the worst moment—like at the airport while I was waving to fans or during an interview when I checked the time, and reporters caught a glimpse. I shook my head, not wanting those rumors about me and Taehyung to resurface. That’s why we had to be extra careful this time.
I went to my closet, closed my eyes, and randomly picked out a dress. I knew that if I looked at all my options, I’d just waste time.
I ended up wearing a black tweed retro plaid knit cardigan paired with blue washed denim jeans and converse shoes.
By the time I finished getting dressed, Taehyung's makeup was complete, and the stylists had left.
"So, are you disappointed that it’s not my real face you’re going on a date with?" he asked, pulling me closer. I frowned, realizing he thought I liked him just for his looks.
"I'm actually really happy to be going on a date with you," I replied sincerely, hoping he understood how much I truly liked him and how excited I was for our first real date.
"I'm glad to hear that," he said.
We stepped out of the house and into the lively city... Walking hand in hand through the streets, it felt wonderful to be out in public together, with people noticing us.
"So, what should we do first?" I asked, and he shrugged before pointing to an ice cream shop.
I smiled, recalling that it was the same ice cream shop my mom used to take me to whenever she had some free time.
"My mom used to bring me here a lot," I said, tugging at his shirt as he peered inside the shop, which already had a long line.
"You never talk about your parents," he remarked, and I felt my expression falter. He noticed and quickly tried to change the subject.
"Well, I hope their ice cream is good," he said thoughtfully, and I chuckled.
"It's so good that even San, who usually hates sweets, loves the ice cream from here," I replied, and he looked at me in disbelief, as if I were joking.
San really did despise sweets... I still couldn't figure out why, but whenever we brought ice cream from his place, he actually ate it. It remained a mystery to me.
"Then we have to try it," he said, hurrying into the shop, which made me laugh.
We ended up buying two different flavors of ice cream—mine was mint chocolate, while his was Double Bianco Strawberry, which turned out to be his favorite.
