The rain had not stopped since they left the café.

"I can't believe we're still walking in this rain."

Jay shaking the rain from his hair.

"Sometimes, the best adventures are the unexpected ones."

"You're right, I haven't done anything like this in so long.. it feels nice."

As they walked, Ain began to open up, sharing stories about her life back in Seoul—the friends she missed, the places she loved, and the reasons she left like she needed to leave it all behind.

Jay could tell that this was something Ain had been holding back for a while.

"It must've been hard to leave everything behind."

"It was.. but I think I needed it. I needed a fresh start, a new place where I could be.. me, without all the baggage."

"I get that. Sometimes, a change of scenery is exactly what we need."

As they continued walking, they stumbled upon a small old-fashioned bookstore.

"Ain, let's go in here. I think you'll like it."

Jay wandered over to a shelf filled with poetry books.

"How about we pick out books for each other? Something to remember by today."

Ain laughed.

"Okay, challenge accepted."

Ain find the shelves for a book that would suit Jay.

After a few minutes of searching, Ain found a book of classic love poems. It seemed fitting—Jay had a quiet, romantic side even if he didn't always show it. And then, she saw that Jay holding a book as well, a mystery novel with a dark intriguing cover.

"I think you'll like this one. You seem like the kind of person who enjoys a good mystery."

Ain laughed and taking the book from him.

"You're not wrong. But you picked a love poem collection for me, didn't you?"

Jay blushing.

"Maybe.. I thought you might enjoy something a bit different."

"Thank you, Jay. For today... and for listening."

"You don't have to thank me, Ain. I'm just glad you're here.. with me."

Ain's heart skipped a beat at his words. She wasn't sure what was happening between them, but she knew she wanted to find out.

As they turned a corner, Jay paused and looking up at the sky.

"The rain's letting up. Do you think that means something?"

Ain laughed and nudging him playfully.

"Maybe it means we're supposed to have more days like this."

"I love that."
