"Look, this is our little Five!" Lila pointed to the ultrasound monitor screen.

She glanced at Five and had to smile at his fascinated expression as he looked at their baby, who so far looked more like a lightly moving bean-shaped stain, but even so was already a little recognizable on the ultrasound.

The doctor confirmed that Lila was already 13 weeks pregnant and that so far everything was going as it should. This also confirmed the fact that Lila became pregnant in their timeline in their strawberry house.

Admittedly, the doctor was slightly surprised that Lila hadn't come with her husband, but whatever he thought of it, he was one of the few who made no comment.

"It's really there."

"Of course!" She laughed at his expression, it was really obvious that this was all completely new to him in this area. But at the same time, he was enjoying it properly.

"And is everything okay?"

Lila nodded her head, "yes" and smiled at that, as if perhaps the doctor's confirmation wasn't enough for him and he needed to hear it from her as well. Five kissed her happily.

--

Lila spent time with either Five or the children. So she was bouncing back and forth between her old home and the new one she and Five that they arranging together.

Her family disapproved of her new relationship, even though they knew Lila was pregnant. At least they had been discreet about it so far and hadn't told anyone else, she wanted Diego to find out from her and not from some gossip in the family.

Unfortunately, things weren't exactly rosy with Diego either. They got to the stage where he refused to discuss anything with her. Lila was ready to send all the necessary paperwork to the court, but she still hoped that she and Diego would come to a reasonable agreement first and it wouldn't end up in endless court.

Often he would fight her off just by saying: "You're already doing what you want anyway, so it doesn't matter, does it? You made up your mind for both of us a long time ago!"

And to everyone's displeasure, Lila didn't let objections or reproaches stop her and actually did what she wanted.

Besides, she slowly began to organize her time so that even Five would finally get to know her children to the fullest. Once at the playground, the second time at the ice cream parlour or at a story at the cinema. The twins took a liking to their uncle after a few days, with Grace it was more difficult. She was already much more perceptive in that regard. She saw that things were not right between her parents.

Lila had tried to explain things to them, in proportion to their age and the whole situation, more than once, but she knew it would take more time for everyone to get used to it.

"I knew it would be best to start furnishing our bedroom!"

Lila and Five were lying in their new bed, in their new bedroom, which they had just christened properly by making love. Twice.

"Do you have plans like this with every new room?"

"With the ones where it's appropriate for sure," she laughed.

"So the patio was appropriate, too, in your opinion?"

Lila laughed, "well you didn't seem to mind! And not in the kitchen either!"

"I don't think we'd better talk about that. In retrospect it makes no sense at all, I don't know how you always manage to seduce me like that... you've spoiled me so badly!"
