#19 Confusion

The doorbell rang.

"I'm going to answer the door," said Five, standing up from the table, and Lila grabbed his hand at the last moment, stopping him.

"No..."

When he looked at her, he was struck by the look on her face, she looked shocked, confused, whereas just a few seconds ago she had seemed fine, smiling and having a good time. The others looked at her in confusion too.

"Are you okay?" Five asked her.

Lila got up from the table and walked into the main hall, looking around, looking completely confused, "The windows... the windows... are not broken..." she whispered to herself.

Everyone followed her, no one understood what was going on.

"Love, what happened? What are you talking about?"

The doorbell rang again.

Lila jerked. "Don't open the door!" She screamed in complete hysterics.

Five walked slowly over to her, grabbing her arm gently, "Lila... what's wrong?"

"Victor's in there... and... Diego too..." she glared at him and then as if remembering something, she pushed his hands away and backed away from him, "don't come near me!"

She looked at Luther, Sloane and Klaus, none of them understanding what was happening. Before anyone could say or do anything else, Lila ran to the door.

She opened it, Victor was standing there and Diego appeared a few feet away. Just like she said a moment ago. And whatever they were about to say, neither had time to do so, Lila quickly walked around them, not looking at either of them, and ran down the stairs.

"Lila!"

Five ran after her. So did the others.

"What the hell is going on here?" Diego asked.

"I have no idea!" Luther uttered, and eventually everyone followed her.

Lila also had the edge thanks to two flashes that shortened her trip and so did Five. As they stood in front of the house, Lila looked around, breathing deeply, looking terrified.

"I told you not to come near me!" She yelled at Five, who was trying to walk closer to her again.

Five raised his hands in defense and stopped.

"I'm worried about you... I don't want to hurt you..." he tried to understand what could have happened to her.

Lila backed away, to the edge of the sidewalk.

The rest of the family ran out of the house right after.

Lila held her hands up in front of her, "Stay away from me! You all!" She backed up again, all the way to the road.

"Okay, okay, we'll all stay where we are, just please come back to the sidewalk, okay?" Five tried to speak to her in a calm voice. "None of us want to hurt you..."

Lila looked at everyone, confusion written all over their faces, no one understood what was happening. Even Diego looked confused as he looked at her. The last person she looked at was Five.

"Not you... it's me." There was fear and pain on her face.

No sooner had she finished speaking than she blinked and disappeared to who knows where.

They all came running over, "does anyone understand what just happened?" Klaus asked.

Five gasped as it started to make sense to him, "I think... Lila turned back time."
