*time skip*

2 years later

Phelium:

Seated at the back of the lecture hall is a well- built, tall and quiet guy dressed in a grey hoodie, always seen on his own with headphones.

As the lecture comes to an end, he quickly gets up from his seat, swings his backpack on and swiftly walked out the exit.

He slid on his headphones as soon as the door swung opens.

He walked through the uni campus, walking past groups of students huddling in groups some people also on their own

Phelium stepped down a large staircase then walked out the main building and enetred the open facade.

More students were buzzing in the busy campus, some stalls had been set up to announce events. 

A huge banner with the upcoming inter uni dance competition flapped with the wind.

A student wearing a society shirt passed a flyer to Phelium as he walked by.

Phelium blankly looked at the flyer as he continued to walk down.

More students started to rush past him, a girl ran past and shouted "Brooklyn!"

Phelium's eyes suddenly lit up for a brief moment as he paused.

He turned around while pushing his headphones down.

Suddenly the sound of the bustling campus began to surround him for the first time

The girl that ran past him went up to a friend with a short brunette cut surrounded by more people.

They walked together closely with their backs facing him

Not being able to glimpse the face he quickly read the writing at the back of the girl's jersey jacket 'connect dance soc'

"It can't be...."

Snapping out of the daze he turned back to find his bicycle and started his journey back home with thoughts racing and memories rushing back

As phelium reached his neighbourhood he decided to drop by Finn and Athena's house.

He hesitated before knocking on the door.

Finn opened it to greet Phelium with the same wide grin on his face and loud greeting.

Phelium can't help but laugh at the familiar face, somewhat feeling a sense of relief and comfort.

The two make their way into the living room.

Athena looked up from her laptop and grinned at Phelium.

"What you doing here"

Both of them laugh.

Finn shakes his head.

As the three caught up, Finn suddenly brought up the events at uni and asked Athena about the dance comp. Sensing Phelium's silence, Athena glanced at Phelium's face.

Athena looked down at the drink in her hand, not knowing if she should bring it up or not.

"Have you seen-" Phelium started but quickly ended it. "Never mind, I should get back home."

"You should visit us more often" Finn told Phelium as he patted him on the back before Phelium walked out

Phelium smiled and waved before cycling again.

Atehna stared at Phelium.

"He saw her didn't he."

Back at home, Phelium was busy typing on his laptop. Continuing his research in an attempt to keep his mind busy. But his thoughts eventually went back to earlier. He ended up searching up the dance society on his laptop and found the uni's social page and looked at the posts.

As he scrolled through, he found a group pic.

There she was in the centre, with a smile even brighter than before, looking more free, happy and strong.

"Brooklyn"
