37. Nugu

Eunhye POV:

"One two three four, one two three four. No Eunhye" Mrs Lau sighed "Your foot is sickled again."

I sighed and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry Maam" I started from the beginning repositioning myself.

"Did you not practice your ankle strengthening exercises I suggested over break? You have good legs miss kim but your ankles are a weakness you have to practice. Now from the top." She says calmly restarting the music.

I felt bad. I didn't practice, there wasn't time. With all of this stuff going on with Nari and Jake, it wasn't even an enjoyable winter break. Han took a while to recoup, even had to take a short hiatus from schedules due to anxiety. This whole situation has affected all of us greatly, Jake especially.

Dance continued for another hour or so, rehearsals were even longer lately due to none of us practicing during break. We had two new transfer students as well from a different school, Nina and Yoona, twin sisters from SNU.

"Okay class that's enough for today I can tell i'm losing you, please please please make practice a priority as you know our studio is open 27/7 for out of class practice. It's very important you don't lose your skills, thank you" Mrs lau sighs grabbing her grey cardigan and coffee mug before exiting the room.

I slouched over to the lockers exhausted and grabbed my dance bag taking off my pointe shoes.

"Hi!"

I looked up to see a girl smiling above me.
"Hello," I smile up at her, "I'm Eunhye"

"I'm Yoona, my sister over there is Nina, it's nice to meet you." She says sitting down next to me unlacing her shoes. "I love your shoes they're beautiful." I say looking at the details. "What brand are they?"

"Oh they're just Blochs, but I sew! I added the embroidery." she smiles looking down at her shoes.

Wow she's talented those are so beautiful. "I love them they're so pretty Yoona" I smile at her.

She smiles back and nods, she seems sweet.

"Well I better go get my sister I don't want it to seem like I forgot her, but it was nice to meet you!" She says waving as she leaves.

I waved and slung my bag over my shoulder.

bzz bzz bzz

I looked down at my phone to see a text from Jungwon saying he was gonna get lunch and wanted to know if i'd like to come. It's sweet of him to include me. I told him that i was coming from dance and i'd meet him there soon.

The walk along our campus was my favorite part of the day, it's so beautiful and enriched with nature, trees and flowers everywhere, ivy and stone pathways, it was truly beautiful. In the distance ahead I saw Jake walking to his physics class, his head down and hands in his pockets. He looked so.. sad. I felt so bad for him, and angry at the same time.

Once I got to the cafe I looked inside to see if Jungwon was there. I didn't see him but I went in and sat down by the window ordering a small macchiato.

"Euni!!" I looked up to see Sunoo running towards me.

"Hi Sun! Where's Jungwon?" I asked looking behind him.
