Sometimes, I wonder,
If I could go back in time.
I would have met,
A younger self of mine.
All I would do,
Is just a pat on my back and say.
Thank you for trying dear,
Everything will be okay.
If I could return to my younger self,
I wish I could tell him not to cry.
I would tell myself, never be sorry,
For the least, you can always try.
Perhaps that was what we needed,
A reflection of our evolved form.
Trying to save our younger self,
From all the tragedies and self-harm.
