No one dared to talk, Earthquake and Megatron's gazes stuck together, the two staring at each other in confusion, and a somewhat emotion neither could quite identify.

Earthquake: "...I am so sorry for not being present, for not knowing of your existence at all since today"

The taller bot knelt down, helped by the Prime, and stood at optic level with the Warlord.

Earthquake: "I want to make it up to you, and even if you won't believe me, I never did any of the things Eclipse is talking about... you are her son, so you'll believe her, but I want you to know that I, your Sire, would never do such things"

The tone of those words moved something. A little thing inside Megatron slightly cracked, and then, it finally, finally shattered into millions of pieces.
Tears came up in Megatron's optics, and he looked at Earthquake while wiping them off.

Megatron: "...I believe you"

The two smiled at each other, before Fireblaze ruined the moment, pointing her blaster right at the mech's head.

Fireblaze: "I don't"

It took just a second, and with a thud, their frame fell down.
