The Nemesis stood in the sky, its engines emitting a low rumble everyone could hear, yet there was something off that day.
In the control room, the same way all this started, Soundwave found an encrypted message, and while decoding it, he felt a large servo in his backplates.

Shockwave: "You're overworking yourself again. It is unlogical. We are at peace with the Autobots, and Starscream's offsprings are on the way."

His voice was menacing for many, yet for Soundwave, it was a soothing melody, and he leaned in his conjux's hold, surprisingly, speaking.

Soundwave: "...I know, but... decoding a message"

Shockwave: "...to think that is how all this started."

Soundwave: "True."

They stood in each other's hold for at least five minutes before a notification popped up on the main screen. Shockwave, then read it out loud.

Shockwave: "'Hello, anyone receiving this message, please, I crashlanded on planet Earth, near a mountain in the Asian continent, I believe the state is called 'Japan', I require help, I'm willing to pay for it with my Shanix even if they're not much, please, help' a help request... the Autobots will want to rescue them. "

Soundwave: "Also true."

So that is what led Megatron and Optimus to go rescue this unknown bot, and while at it, they chatted a bit.

Optimus: "So... Are you two now an actual couple?"

They were able to free the bot from the rubble, helping them up on their stabilizers, realizing they were larger than both Megatron and Optimus, which was very tall. Both leaders helped the unknown bot to the groundbridge, and in no time, they were back on the Nemesis.
The bot revealed his name was Earthquake, and he was an ex-Gladiator of Kaon, and for some reason, Optimus found him all too similar to Megatron.

He just brushed it off.

Megatron: "An ex-Gladiator of Kaon? We come from the same pit, I see"

Megatron joked around, letting Earthquake lean on him for support. In the meantime, Starscream let himself be helped by Shockwave and Soundwave to reach the control room, where the Seeker and Warlord met up, and the larger one held up the smaller jet in his arms.

Megatron: "You shouldn't be walking around unguarded."

Starscream: "I was with Soundwave and Shockwave. Who's better guards than them?"

They both chuckled a bit, and Earthquake couldn't hold back his 'aaawww'.

Earthquake: "You remind me of myself, I had a sparkmate too."

He looked rather calm and composed while talking about a sparkmate that was his.

Optimus: "Sorry for your loss"

Earthquake: "Oh, she didn't offline, she just... left"

He said it with such a fake smile, so much pain behind those calm optics.
