My hidden feelings are
a step-down transformer
that divides and converts the frequency
of the current passing through
the path of vessels and capillaries,
so that my capacitors, transistors, and
resistors won't blow—
so that the loads inside
my circuited heart
won't be torn
by the vapidity of my
strong emotions.
