The Complicated Boy § Tae×kook

~second letter - 34-

Day-2
Engagement was a day after tomorrow so tae and Jimin thought to go university , hand out the application for leave to their professor ( don't ask me why submitting application)

Taehyung was in his class with jimin , after a long day it was tiring . They thought to have something in canteen then to take their last lecture before going home .

They were about to get out of the classroom when a staff boy came and called tae's name saying that there was a letter for him , boy hand out the letter to tae who was nervous yet curious to find out answers

"Open it tae " Jimin said curiously  and tae opened the letter

The letter begins with a warm, comforting tone, but Tae's eyes narrow as he reads the words.

(The words are read with a tender, yet urgent tone)

"My dear Tae, if you are reading this,  there is something I need you to know, something that has been hidden from you. Go to our old home, the place where we shared so many moments together. There, you will find the answers to your past life, your father’s identity, and many more truths that will shape your future...

Remember mumma always loved u and will love u , watch u from here "

The letter trails off, leaving Tae staring at the paper, his face a mix of emotions.

Tae’s expression is a blend of anxiety and curiosity. His brow furrows as he contemplates the message. A flicker of uncertainty crosses his face, but his eyes are also alight with a spark of determination.

Tae (muttering to himself): "All the answers... my father"

He stands up abruptly, pacing the room. His movements are quick and restless. Tae's mind races as he processes the gravity of the letter.

Tae (whispering): "Mom, what is this about? I'm so nervous from this truth ."

"Tae relax everything will be okay " jimin said

The surrounding felt  suddenly smaller, the weight of the letter heavy in his hands. Tae’s nervousness was palpable, but it was accompanied by an undeniable curiosity, a yearning to uncover the hidden pieces of his past.

He took  a deep breath, steeled himself, and noded decisively.

"I need to go Daegu Minnie " tae said
"Hmm we will go after hyung's engagement okay " jimin said

Tae’s thought

"I can hardly believe it... In just a few days, I might finally learn everything I’ve been searching for. All these years of wondering about my past, my father, and why my mother kept these secrets... it’s almost overwhelming to think that it’s all about to be revealed."

"Part of me is ecstatic. All those nights I spent questioning, doubting, and imagining what could have been. The longing for answers, for closure—finally, it might be within reach. It’s like the puzzle pieces of my life are about to fall into place."

"But there’s also fear. What if the truth is more painful than I’ve imagined? What if everything I thought I knew was a lie? I’ve lived with the uncertainty for so long; the stability of ignorance has its own comfort."

"I’m eager, yes. Eager to understand my past, to meet my father, to grasp the full story of my life. But I can’t shake the anxiety that comes with it. What if this journey changes everything? What if it shakes the very foundation of who I am?"

"Still, I have to know. Even if the truth is harsh or unsettling, it’s better than living in the dark. I’ve waited for this moment for years. I can’t turn back now."
