Good enough

There he was. Sitting at a table in the middle of a cafe, surrounded by people. Yet still, he managed to have his own shine.

That's one thing I definitely envy him for. He could always make the universe revolve around him. Or maybe it's just me.

Oh.

And there she was sitting next to him. With a smile on her small face. With no care to anyone or anything. It's like it was her world, and we're living in it.

And maybe it's something I wish I had, too.

Maybe that's why I admired her since we were children.

I noticed that I was zoning out again when I caught him waving at me from where they were sat.

Blinking my confusion away, I started moving towards the table.

Before I had the chance to put my but on the chair, Ryujin stood up and pulled me in a hug.

She always did that.

But no matter how many times it happened, I'm always flustered by it. It always leaves me a red and confused mess.

"Hey, oppa."

She said with her sweet voice.

"Hey."

I caught eyes with Felix while still hugging her.
He had his significant smile on his face.

And at that moment I realised how much I missed him.

I missed both of them.

"Alright baby, let go of him already."

At that, I slightly pushed her away from me.
She had a small pout on her lips, but I tried to play it off by ruffling her hair before finally taking my seat.

"Hey, Jinnie. I missed you."

I missed him calling me that.

"Sorry, work is just up my ass, I didn't have time for us."

I missed you too.

"Right, oppa is working in a big ass company now. Give him a few years, and he won't know us anymore."

Ryujin said, making him giggle.
I did, too.

"Yeah, that's not how it really works, Ryu."

"I'm pretty sure when they notice how amazing you are, they'll give you better opportunities."

Why won't you notice how amazing I am?

I laughed a little before saying: "Yeah, sure. Anyway, what made you guys suddenly want to meet up in the middle of the week?"

It's been bugging me since the moment Felix called. After Jisung suggested that Ryujin might be here, and it is actually happening. I couldn't help but suspect that something had happened.

"Now you're making it sound like we only call you when something is wrong."

Lately, you have been, yes.

But not like I mind.

I'll take whatever I can get from the both of you.

"That's not what he meant, Lixie. But oppa, you're right. We have something to tell you."

Suddenly, I felt like my heart was about to stop working. And the look he was giving me was not helping.
