Present Time - Part 1

The siblings are currently on the road to their new house in Forks, Washington. Just like the Cullens, their house was outside of town and in the woods. Kol and Katherine, were their new names they were going by since 1983. After leaving Washington in 1935, they've been all over the place. Different parts of Canada, South America, and Eastern Europe. They visited Henry, Jackson, Joseph, and Marcellus, now going by Marcel in Canada in 1956 and in Denmark in 1993, the 4 of them plan to go back to England and stay there for as long as they could, they loved England and returned so much that they picked up an English accent. They four would send postcards from where they were. Katherine enjoyed them, she put them in books as a collection. They collected and kept a lot of things over the years, their guns from the Civil War, newspapers, their guns from their gangster life and money from different countries. Kol had a thing for collecting authentic knives while Kat collected music and books, even comic books. Both Kol and Katherine know how to play the piano but Katherine took it a step further and learned the violin. Kol was driving while Katherine was in the passenger seat looking at the recent postcards Marcel had sent from London with a small smile on her face, she missed them but a few more years of exploring and then they would reunite as a coven.

"15 minutes de plus." Kol said in French
("15 more minutes.")

"D'accord" Katherine responded
("Okay")

The pair were in France the last 5 years, checking in on a descendant from the oldest brother of their three younger siblings, a niece. She was performing in the Swan Princess and they went to go see her. They kept their distance though. They went to the museum and found the section where they were in, their portraits, their family portraits, a painting of the estate in flames, and a description of the event. It brought back a lot of horrible memories for Katherine, which is why they left so quickly, she couldn't handle it. Katherine put the postcards back in her collection book and then leaned back on the seat crossing her arms and looking out the window. Today was Tuesday, tomorrow the moving van would come with their stuff and they would unpack Wednesday through Thursday, go to school Friday and then probably go to the reservation to see if William was still around. They both knew it was a long shot if he was still alive but it wouldn't hurt to check even if he hated them.

"Nous sommes ici." Kol said as they drove up the driveway.
("We're here")

Kol parked in front of the garage. They both got out of the car, Katherine stared at the house for a minute before closing the door. She grabbed a backpack, a duffel bag and her violin from the backseat. They head to the front door. Kol unlocked the door and turned on the lights as they entered. The house had 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 half bathroom, a library, a basement, and upper and lower balcony, and a path in the back that led to a river/lake. Katherine headed upstairs to her room while Kol went to his. She opened her door and walked to her bed and placed her duffel bag, then she set her violin on the floor, took off her backpack, sat on her bed and then laid back. She stared at the ceiling for a while before deciding to get up and unpack.
She unzipped her duffel bag, then the backpack and then went to open drawers. Katherine used her powers to transfer her stuff to her drawers and closed them. Thanks to the release of comic books, not only could she have control over the mind but she had telekinesis: being able to move objects with the mind without physical contact or other means. Reading the comic books really helped her understand and control her powers, she had most of the original copies but some she just couldn't get. She then grabbed the duffel bag and the backpack. She put the duffel bag in the closet and then walked to her desk, and placed the backpack right next to it on the floor. Kol knocked on the door frame and leaned against it, getting her attention.
