Drifting away from Derick and Avery's conversation for a bit.Laurel and Maxwell were with the triplets, due to wanting a little chat without Derick and Avery but mostly Derick.
Cail shifting a bit closer to Seila on the couch they were sitting on, while Pearl is sitting on a different couch with Laurel and Maxwell facing Cail and Seila due to how the furniture was arranged.   Laurel and Maxwell had came a good while after Derick and Avery left, having a little hunch that they would be there. But they are too late, so whatever they were going to do or specifically would say would have to wait.
"Yo Cail, do you still have that little grudge against the other two?" Maxwell asked as he moved himself in a more comfortable position, he question straightforward and having no hidden meaning to it or at least from how he sounded.  Cali couldn't help but roll his eyes at the question, although a bit playfully it still had a level of annoyance to it which Laurel could notice. "It's true that I still hold some spite, I somewhat forgive them as I kinda seem selfish if I don't...But what does that have to do with anything?" He asked one of his own questions, a bit mockingly per say, not liking that question and how random it is. Maxwell just shrugged and Pearl spoke up, "It has a lot to do with Derick's plan for sure, if you hold your spite then it will burst out one day or you would sub-consciously start acting weird. We don't have anytime to deal with drama, especially since we are trying to do something important." Her tone a bit annoyed, but it is so common to the point where it sounds like her natural voice, though her words held a bit of wisdom which always surprise them to see that the hot-headed girl has sense. Not that they would admit that though. Seila nodded and added her little part, "It's affecting your friendship and the whole group in general, not to mention the most important part Pearl said." She said in a firm but soft tone, barely above a whisper.
Maxwell couldn't help but have a little grin, there is no clear reason why other than he finds Cail's situation amusing and that is too shallow for a boy like him.  Cail just sighed silently at this remarks, if only he had kept his mouth shut, "I suppose you all are right but if you tell me to fix the problem and not tell me how, how does one fix it?" He asked looking down in his lap, not out of shame but more so that he didn't know who to look at for the answer. Pearl let out a 'tsk tsk tsk' sound, not really amused by the question but to be honest she isn't amused most of the time.

"Well-" Maxwell started, his grin only growing, "How do you solve a conflict without addressing it? You can't, it only comes back by time. So confront them, and try to be open minded." Cail muttered something under his breath, though it wasn't quite clear what. Laurel eyes on Maxwell now, "And how do you suppose that he focus on the conflict between them since this group was together, when we have to focus on the mission on hand? If he focuses on that, wouldn't that stress out Derick? Having to fix a problem while having to focus on the task on hand? Having to do the opposite of what before ,he did having to be very aware, when all things are settled while having to focus on the more important thing? You want him to multi-task while having a clear mind? Then when he is stressed out, we have more problems to deal with?" She questioned, not out of curiosity but more so to get her point across, "You have to remember, it's not just Cail's fault. It's Avery's and Derick's too, and if they can not own up to it before in the past when they had all the chances to do so. Do you think that they will now?" Pearl and Seila was dead quiet, listening on. They always knew about this drama, but never really seen it in action.

Maxwell let out a soft noise of acknowledgement, letting a moment of silence pass before speaking too, "Well, what do you propose then my dear sister~?" He asked a bit sarcastically, but his tone teasing at that. Laurel didn't say anything more, looking down in shame, she didn't have anything to say to that. Maxwell let out a dry chuckle, "As Cail said before, how can you tell me to fix a problem without saying how." He paused briefly, before speaking directly to Cail, "Cail, do what your heart's desire. It is no telling what you should do, but you do what you think is right." Pearl nodded a little with that statement, "I think that is a fair response, Cail has the ability to choose what he wants to do despite what he is told." Cail sighed once more, "Well, I think I would talk to Derick and Avery about this tomorrow. Maybe if they don't mind it would help me choose." Seila hummed softly in agreement.

Back to our little duo, Avery and Derick.
