After my second glass was empty me and Dally both stood up. I felt out of my element which in turn made me feel embarrassed. I knew I'd never have a chance with him. He grabbed my hand and led me to a pool table eventually. The room was filled with cigarette smoke and guys crowded around the pool table, their corresponding girl attached to their hip. The girls stood pressed up against whichever guy they were trying to get with that night or whoever they had already gotten with, moving out of the way whenever their guy had to shoot the ball using the cue.

Upon seeing Dally they quickly finished the previous game and set up the balls so he could be the one to break them. "You can go stand over there and watch alright? It'll be quick." He said and pointed to a wall where some other girls and guys were standing. The guys were usually there waiting for their turn and the girls were usually there out of boredom and nothing better to do. I nodded my head and found a clear spot on the wall to lean up against. I lit myself another cigarette and focused on Dally playing the game, he was really good actually.

I scratched my hand and smoked my cigarette as I watched him, I was bored but that was my fault. I should've gone home. I would've gone home if Buck hadn't spoke to me and if I hadn't told Dally that I was working the bar tonight.

Dally only had a couple more balls to hit in before getting his win, but I could feel someone breathing down my neck. I assumed that it was a man and rolled my eyes back as far as I could, I was already aggravated because of my actions. It gets on my nerves that I can't seem to act right. I decided to not turn around, I didn't want to deal with or face the man that seemed to be behind me.

A few minutes later I was whipped around by my hips and slapped right across the face by a man. It was the man that was breathing down my neck, you could tell by his scent of beer and cigarettes that were overpowering. "Why the f**k are you ignoring me?" He started yelling, causing the whole room to turn their attention to us. But not Dally, Dally took his turn in pool and seemed to ignore the screaming man. He acted like it was an everyday occurrence, and it probably was.

He grabbed a fistful of my shirt and pulled me closer to his chest. I was clueless, I swear I didn't hear a word come from the guys mouth. "I didn't hear anything." I told him trying to keep it short so he would let me go and let me go home. He punched me this time and kept yelling about how he was talking for the last couple minutes. It then clicked in my head that I was zoned out focusing on Dally and that my hearing had went out. I wanted him to beat me up bloody right there. I felt horrible and embarrassed. I didn't want to deal with the repercussions right now, he can kill me right now for all I care.

He kept screaming at me and I just glared at him with a straight face the whole time, I was used to it. Dally looked up after a few moments and said, "What is wrong with you guys? Take your tur-" before realizing that nobody was taking their turn because of the current scene that was going down.

He threw his pool cue down on the table before running and tackling the guy that was yelling at me. I guess he didn't realize the position that we were standing in because when he landed on the guy he took me down with him. I got tackled to the ground with the guy, having two fully grown men slamming down onto me.

The man that was yelling was holding onto me by my waist, trying to use me as a shield against Dally or something. I was trying to swing my fists at his face or scratch him or something but I wasn't putting forth much effort in fear of accidentally tearing up Dally instead. Dally was having a hard time hitting the guy as well because of the position that we were in, if he missed by a couple inches then he would hit me right in the face.

Dally started trying to pry the guy off of me. He was held onto me by my waist and he had a tight grip, I was trying to squirm but it was too difficult to get out of his hands. Dally had his hands all over my bare back since the guy grabbed me under my shirt, but I didn't mind. I knew he was doing whatever he had to do and his hands didn't make me uncomfortable. Dally's hands were much rougher than the other guys so I could easily tell who was who, and I felt much better whenever I could tell that it was Dally's hands rather than the other guys.

The man's hands were pried off of me eventually and right after he wasn't on me anymore Dally threw the guy over his shoulder. He was kicking Dally in the back and trying to beat him in the chest but Dally wasn't phased. His voice only sounded a little bit winded when he said to me, "Stay put. I'll take care of it." I nodded my head and he took the guy outside to the yard.

Everyone gathered around the singular window to watch the fight that was about to go down. I got a front row view. I found it interesting how everyone watched the fight like a show and how nobody got in the way of Dally's fists. Usually if there was a fight people would try to break it up, but nobody broke up a fight with Dally unless they really loved the person that he was beating.

I watched as Dally beat the guy badly. There was no stopping him until the guy was out cold. Punch after punch he didn't take a break or a breather. You could tell that the guy was bad off, Dally's rings cutting up his face and his clothes being littered with red dots of his own blood.

The fight was over after the guy got up and yelled something before running away. Dally yelled at the guy throughout the fight as well. I wished that I could've heard their dialogue. Even though the guy deserved it for sure I still felt a little guilty that it was my fault that he got beat up so badly.
