luci was all of those things, before they were taken away from her slowly as reality went on.

she didn't want anyone to hurt her anymore, because she wasn't the same she was before. and the thought alone left goosebumps all over her.

luci didn't want to hate her mother. hate. never a thing she knew of, so sparing it in her bottle if feelings felt right.

so she wasn't going to let her mother take over her. and she wasn't in any condition going to let amora as well.

luci's internal battle between her and amora, she had to overtake amora's powers in order to kill her from her soul and keep the powers.

but the witch decided to take a hiatus from reality. even if it was for one day.
isolating oneself was a piece of mind not anyone could benefit from, but luci bernard could.
everyone else was out there facing their nightmares, from left to right.
while luci was holed up in a dark room, in her own ephialtes. away from the chaos—yet so close.
no one except caroline even noticed she was gone, something she was used to.
but it was only a matter of time before they needed her help, and realize that they'd forgotten about her.
luci's family though, cared.

the purple haired girl promised not to tell percy about ethan—who was no where to be found—but she still had to make sure luci's mentality was right.
luci thought it was funny, how they were so worried about her.
but all she wanted was just a break, wouldn't it be weird if she didn't need one?
it wasn't just because of the lies, it was because of the inconvenience of the situations.
every single one.
the story seemed to go so slowly, with no recurring events. but in reality, one little thing is a burden to a sixteen year old girl.
