GETTING READY FOR MY DATE with Jobe took me longer than i thought. I took a nap and was running late. In a hurry i straightened my hair and dressed up as well as did my makeup.

(outfit for reference)

I ran down the stairs and as i was passing the living room, the voice of my older brother stopped me from walking any further.

- Where are you going? - He asked curiously as switching his attention from the game to me.

- Outside? Where could i be going dressed up in a jacket Levi? - I replied with annoyance in my voice.

- I know that g. Where though? With who? - He continued bombing me with questions.

- I'm meeting with someone. I'll be back in a bit.

- Alright. Text me if you need anything. - He responded and looked away and back at the TV.

Levi and I lived together in London. I moved in, because i had a better and shorter route from where he lived to school than from out parents' house.

I left the house and hurried to the closest bus station. I didn't have a drivers license yet, so driving to the ice skating rink wasn't a choice.

Yeah i could ask Levi, but he'd be nosy and ask so many questions that i just didn't bother. I got on the bus at half past five. I knew i was going to be late, because i slept in.

When i got to the place it was just after 6. It wasn't a huge delay, but i still felt bad. I quickly walked to the entrance and noticed him with his head down and looking through his phone.

- Sorry i'm late. - I apologised as approaching him.

He quickly looked up at me and hid his phone into the pocket of his black jacket. The guy was also wearing black jeans and a dark grey hoodie.

- Didn't even notice. - He replied with a faint smile.

- Shall we go inside? - I suggest and he nodded his head.

Jobe opened the door for me and let me go in first. He followed right after. We got our tickets and rented ice skates.

It wasn't my first time skating. I loved doing it as a child, but something happened not too long ago that forced me to drop the sport.

I walked first with Jobe following behind and entered the ice. It felt so good to be back. I turned quickly around to see Jobe looking unsure.

- Come on, I'll help you! - I offered as reaching out my hands.

He grabbed onto me and i pulled him onto the rink. He was standing rather stiffly and seemed to not like what he was doing at all.

- Next time we're going to a trampoline park, yeah. How can you enjoy doing this. - He announced making me giggle.

- You just need to get used to it. You're a footballer, you should be good with your legs! - I noticed with a smile that clearly made him grin too.

- Doesn't mean i like ice skating. - He replied still smiling.

- Oh come on, stop complaining!

After our little conversation and when Jobe caught on how to actually ice skate the time that we spent together went by great.

I got to know a lot and showed him some tricks that i knew. He seemed impressed that made me feel quite pleased.

When our time was up we got off the rink and begun walking to the lockers. We took our jackets and other belongings as well as take off the skates.

- So next time trampolines, you say? - I asked as reminding him talking about it earlier.

- Are you saying you wanna see me again? - He replied with a question almost surprised to hear my words.

- Oh my god. - I shook my head as chuckling underneath my breath. - Of course!

- So trampolines it is. - He smiled as taking my ice skates and walking behind me to the rental room and returning them.

We walked out of the building and noticed that it had started snowing. I laughed as opening my mouth and letting small snowflakes fall onto my tongue.

- Do you know how many bacteria there is in snow? - He asked seriously but with a smile.

- Boo! I don't care i love snow! - I replied as glancing at the guy.

- You remind me of this girl from my childhood. She did the exact same thing as you when it first snowed. - Jobe then confessed, making my heart ache a little.

- Yeah? Tell me all about it. - I smiled as getting closer to him.

He looked down at my lips, nose and then eyes before smiling and gazing away. I rolled my eyes playfully and turned around.

- Wanna get hot chocolate? Something's telling me you love it. - I suggested.

- I do. Wow how did you guess? - He agreed as catching up with me and walking into the direction of the old town.

- Gut feeling. - I shrugged my shoulders, knowing i was not telling the truth.

Not even for a second.
