I shook my head again and opened my eyes widely, looking around the room that i found myself in. White. Brightness. What is this?
- I missed you so much. - I heard a familiar voice.
With a glance i catch a glimpse of my husband. But wait, what is he doing here? This has to be a dream right? Or maybe...
Am i dead?
- Where are we? - I ask as sitting up on what felt like a bed.
- Paradise, or so called Heaven.
I felt confusion and he knew it. I slowly raised myself from the seat and walked towards Jobe, opening my arms. He wrapped his hands around me and hugged me tightly.
- This is it, my love. Our happy ending. We're now together, forever. - He whispered as tears fell down my cheeks.
- What about Charlie? Leah? No. I need to go back! - I panicked and pulled away an inch.
- They have their own lives. They will be sad but don't worry. We will all meet soon.
- In our paradise. - I end and a faint smile appears on my face.
And there was it. My desired happy ending, with the love of my life right beside me. Nothing could go wrong now. I was at default, with him. All that mattered was us now.
