THE NEXT MORNING i was up early, packing for my trip back. I was sitting on the floor and throwing clothes inside, not caring much whether they will crease or not.

When i was done i zipped the luggage up and up from the ground. I was wearing a black sweatpants and hoodie set. My hair was up in a bun ever since i woke up.

I didn't even bother doing my makeup, since i had already packed all of my cosmetics. I grabbed my phone from the bed and texted Levi to let him know i'll be home by 3.

Seconds after i heard a knock on my door. I looked up from my mobile to see Jobe peeking inside. I patted the space beside me letting him know to sit down with me.

- I figured everything out. - He started as taking a seat.

- I'm all ears? - I replied with clear confusion in both my voice and expressions.

- Once you get your schedule and days off i'll look at mine and find a way to make it work. Make us work. - He explained as staring at me.

- Jobe.

- I know it's complicated, and i'm sorry for yesterday. I just didn't expect it, but hey my brother lives in Madrid! It's perfect for us. Think about it Isa! - He convinced as holding both of my hands.

I raised my eyebrows and exhaled. I thought about it for a couple of seconds. This wasn't the outcome that i wanted. I had no choice but agree so i nodded my head and glanced at him.

- The second i get all the needed informations, i'll message you. - I replied seeing how Jobe's eyes lit up.

He kissed me in excitement and got up from the bed. He reached out his hand for me to grab it and i did. He pulled me up, making our faces just inches away.

- Madrid isn't that far away anyway, right? - I shrugged with a faint smile.

Jobe shook his head and placed another kiss on my lips. My head was a mess. I wanted to have him, but i couldn't get his dad's words out of my mind. He still didn't remember me and that scared me to death.

I knew that if we were to clock it and get together i would have to tell him about our past, even if he didn't remember much.

The thoughts left my mind when we heard the announcement of my train incoming. I sighed and glared at Jobe. He seemed upset whatsoever.

- You'll see me again. I swear. - I assured as wrapping my arm around his torso.

- No promise? - He raised his eyebrows and looked down at me with disappointment.

- I never promise, just in case. - I winked playfully to the guy, making him grin from ear to ear.

That's what i liked so much about him. I could say anything and he wouldn't throw a tantrum or get mad at me for a literal joke.

- I'll miss you. - He confessed as still looking at me deep in the eyes.

I nodded my head in response, deciding that i don't want to push this further and reply with ab i will too. I definitely would but not in the way he'd want me to.

Jobe kissed me for a goodbye and let me go as the train stopped. Before getting on he grabbed my hand making me turn around. He seemed desperate to say something.

- Don't be a stranger, Colwill.

(A FEW OF YEARS AGO)

- What if you decide to just move away and forget about me? - I asked as sitting down on one of the swings with Jobe beside me.
