YOUR POV

"Here's your parcel, ma'am. Have a good day," I said politely, handing the package to the customer. She smiled warmly before heading out, leaving the shop quiet once again.

I slid back onto my stool, my gaze naturally drifting to Ra-Mi, who sat beside me, absently scrolling through her phone.

Something about her felt... off.

The vibrant, chaotic extrovert of our trio-had grown unusually quiet these past few weeks.

Ra-Mi my first-ever friend. I still remember the day—the adorable Ra-Mi walked up to me with the brightest smile and gave me a side hug and asked, ‘Do you like BTS too?’ when she spotted my BTS pouch bag. And that was the day when she first started talking my ears off with her wild stories.

And I've always loved her infectious energy. Now it hurts to see her like this and deep down, I wondered if I was partly to blame.

Ever since Jeon-ssi and I got together, I've been less present with my friends. Had my distraction made her feel distant? Or was she going through something she wasn't ready to share? Either way, I missed her. I missed us.

I extended a hand and poked her side gently making her startled.

"Gosh, Yn! Don't poke me there, you bish!" Ra-Mi yelped, nearly dropping her phone as she swatted my hand away.

I couldn't help but laugh and soon, she was giggling too, trying to poke me back.

"Okay, okay! Truce," I said, holding up my hands in surrender, both of us catching our breath. "Now, serious talk time."

"About what?"

"About us," I said, my tone soft but firm. "Why do I feel like you've grown a bit distant? I know we've all got work and life keeping us busy but I miss you. I miss us. Is there something bothering you Ra-Mi?"

Ra-Mi's face softened as she set her phone down. "No, there's nothing like that. I don't know why you felt that way but I'm not distancing from you guys. My days have just become a bit stressful, that's all. And I miss us too. We should plan a hangout when we all have time."

"Right. How about a barbecue night at my place?"

"I'm totally up for it. I'll text Nenec right away," she said, reaching for her phone again.

" Okay. I'll let Joonha know too."

"Yn, can I ask you something?" Ra-Mi said carefully, looking at me with an expression I couldn't quite read.

"Sure. What is it?"

"Is there... someone you fancy? Like, romantically?"

Her question caught me off guard. My heart skipped a beat. Is it too obvious that I'm in love?

"Well, I do like-"

"If you mention one of your celebrity crushes, I swear I'll poke your eye out," Ra-Mi deadpanned, cutting me off. "Reply me honestly."

I laughed nervously. "Okay, fine. I don't fancy anyone romantically. And what about you?"

Ra-Mi's face flushed slightly as she spoke, "What about me? I'd definitely tell you guys if there was someone. Yeah."
