[The setting takes place at night outside a bar. As civilians are passing by the bar, they can hear a group of male's voices echoing through the glass windows. As soon as one of the males shouts, this stutters them instantly.]
Male 2: What? No way.
Male 4: Dude, I am telling you!
[We cut to the inside from the table's point of view as four twenty year old men are sitting in a booth. The tables were long, square and wooden while the seating are compressed with brown leather. The fourth male has long spiky brown-red hair as he pointed at both the first and second male. His name was Kyle.]
Kyle: I was on my way to work this afternoon where I saw Leon and Destiny together walking out of a jewelry store. She had an engagement ring on her left ring finger, and Leon was doing nothing inappropriately.
[The second male sitting next to Male 1 responds back to this. He has blond hair, blue eyes, and a light tan sports jacket over his blue and white T-shirt. His name was Gene.]
Gene: Kyle! We're in a public place!
Kyle: The point is, he was being completely... normal. First time I've seen him in years, and he's like a completely different person.
[The guy sitting next to Gene is the first male. He has black hair with bangs covering his eyebrows. He wears a gray jacket over his black collared shirt and dark jeans. His name is Clyde.]
Clyde: Please, I doubt that Leon could change so drastically.
[The third male who sits next to the fourth male comments back to this. He has long spiky shiny black hair with a black leather jacket and a maroon T-shirt. His name is Derrick.]
Derrick: Plus, the last time you told us that things were great, we learned that you set your apartment on fire making instant noodles. Instant noodles, Kyle. Instant. Noodles.. And not to mention, you almost got fired for assuming your assistant manager was and I quote "getting down with their bad self".
Kyle: Hey, if you saw that angle from where I was standing, you would be thinking that too.
[Kyle takes a moment to exasperate and catch himself back on topic.]
Kyle: Anyway, I know it sounds strange, but I swear it was Leon. Leon's done some questionable things in the past.
Clyde: You're not wrong. Like that one time he brought whiskey into work and turned his whole office into a frenzy.
Gene: I'm still trying to process how Leon didn't get fired for that.
Kyle: He was sleeping with his manager.
Derrick: So that's the person Leon was under the covers with...
[Clyde, Gene, Kyle and Derrick each feel a chill in the air, then shiver for a brief moment.]
Kyle: Anyway, I saw what I saw. And if you don't believe me, you can ask Andre over there. I saw him walking by on my way there.
[Kyle shouts over to Andre to catch his attention. Andre is an African American who owns the bar they frequent, "Andre's Pub." Most of the time, Andre acts as a bartender, but on occasion, he'll usually hang with the group. Andre sports a black collared shirt with dark brown khakis and leathered shoes.]
Kyle: Hey, Andre! Did you see Leon on your way to work today?
Andre: As a matter of fact, I did. Still can't believe he's finally tied the knot. And what did I tell you about shouting from across my restaurant?!
